Lori Keller Disappearance: Case Overview

I want to add a disclaimer for the information that we're about to provide you. We are not accusing anyone of anything. We are simply providing the information that was available to us through certain people. Again, this is just to try to help find Lori or hopefully someone who knows something, encourage them to say something so her family can have closure. Hey y'all, yins and yuns, welcome.

To the Appalachian Crime Show podcast, I'm Kirsten. And I'm Nikki. Today, you might be a little surprised to see us.

We are going to be doing a special segment on the disappearance of Lori Keller Signs from Preston County, West Virginia. And we had talked about her during episode 12 back in November 2019 when she was first reported missing. And next week we'll... be a year since her disappearance currently there is not much traction on her case we wanted to help by making this with more details on her case because her family just wants to bring her home at this point

We also want to thank her mother for providing us with information as well as giving us permission to do this segment on Lori. First, let's go over the basics of this case. Lori Best Signs was reporting last seen on October 13, 2019 in Kingwood, West Virginia. However, she was not reported missing until November of 2019. Lori also goes by the name of Lori Keller and is known to frequent the Clarksburg, West Virginia area.

She stands five foot nine inches tall and was 145 pounds at the time of her disappearance. Lori also has piercings in both ears and wears false teeth. She has brown hair and brown eyes. I was sent a bunch of information from her mother, Cheryl, and I verified some of the information with Deputy Hobatter, who is with the Preston County Sheriff's Office.

Since this is an open case, there are things that he could not tell me, understandably, as to not jeopardize the investigation. But I wanted to share a few things with you.

Last Sightings and Investigation Efforts

On the 12th of October 2019, Judy Waybright went to Clarksburg to pick Lori up and brought her back to Preston County where she was dropped off at Junior Piles' camper where there was a party taking place around 11 or midnight. Judy was supposed to take a look. to walmart the next day but laurie never got back to her about the walmart trip and then another story suggests that she stayed in the kingwood area having been in a red car with two men

as well as visiting a few others around the Tunnelton Pike area. Deputy Hovatter said that they did interview her boyfriend in Harrison County, which is, depending on how fast you drive, about an hour, hour and a half from Kingwood. And... They did a search, but they didn't find anything. They have initiated some search warrants and searched certain properties as well as a few land searches done on foot and with drones, but they haven't found anything.

Public Appeal for Information

So, we want this to be a resource for Lori's family and friends so they can share it and maybe it will help someone come forward with some information. Someone knows something and we, along with her family, just want her to be able to come home. They're currently in the works with some searches, but if you have any information at all, feel free to reach out to us here at the Appalachian Crime Trail, and you can do so via our Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook pages.

and we will pass that information along to the proper authorities. You can also email us at AppalachianCrimetrail at gmail.com and that allows you an easier way to remain anonymous if you wish to do so.
