The APP: Walt Leger

The latest episode of the KTBS political podcast "The APP- Arxlatex People and Politics" Features Walt Leger, former speaker pro tem of the Louisiana house of representatives.
Currently, Leger is president and CEO of "New Orleans and Company" which is involved with tourism in Louisiana. As such, he works closelt with LT. Governor Billy Nungesser.
During thid episode of "The APP" Leger discusses Louisiana's opportunities for tourism in the upcoming year. He also discusses how he works with regional and national tourism groups to make sure Louisiana remains top of mind for travelers worldwide. Leger showcases not just New Orleans, but cultural, historic and natural attractions throughout the state.
He also retains his keen interest in politics, and talks briefly about the current legislative session in Baton Rouge.
