Episode description

This week Joey The Anime Man and AkiDearest talk about Netflix's Death Note Live-Action adaptation. They're yet to see it (because they're in Hawaii at the moment) but it's been interesting to see the comments and reviews online. A lot of people don't like it. There's been a lot of people saying that it's a good standalone film, but nothing like the original. Joey thinks that would make it a bad film because it claims to be an adaptation, which means it needs to have similarities to the original. Wanting to expand to a broader audience is good, but you can't have the only similarity being the title. The duo are really interested in what they'll think when they see it.
