Episode description

WITH Shrewsbury Town bidding to become the first English club with a safe standing section, West Brom stating their willingness to trial rail seating in the Premier League and Spirit of Shankly voting on an official stance on safe standing next week, Gareth Roberts hosts a special on the subject.

First Gareth speaks to Jon Darch, a leading campaigner on safe standing who has worked closely with the Football Supporters’ Federation.

He is then joined by Glyn Price, a Shrewsbury Town supporter who edits the Blue and Amber fanzine.

In the final part of the show, Neil Atkinson speaks to Steve Armstrong from the United We Stand fanzine in a new ‘rivals’ section. How is their summer shaping up and how are their fans feeling?
