Episode description

Have you noticed in our society, humility is often praised and celebrated? Like, we are actually told to downplay what we’re good at! Yeah, no...I'm not for that!

What if we were to change the narrative and start embracing the celebration of our accomplishments? I had a moment recently that shifted my perspective on how I raise my girls. It all started with Reagan coming into the kitchen and telling me she was really good at basketball, and that made me question this whole idea of teaching our kids to be humble.

In this episode, I’m talking about why that moment was so freaking powerful for me, and what I’m doing to make sure I am raising my girls to be confident and never downplay their wins.

In this episode, we chat about:

  • Why I almost stopped Reagan from celebrating her achievement
  • What I have done to instill confidence in my children
  • How many of us have grown up to believe we need to be humble, and why I’m choosing to change the narrative
  • Celebrating our own success
