It's looking good. The future's looking bright, Daryl. Looking bright. I'm loving it. And I forgot to wear shades. Darn it. You know, I have to laugh because Daryl and I, you know, here we have our day off and what are we doing? We are texting back and forth feverishly during the inauguration because both of us are glued to the TV. And worse than that, I mean, around my house, it was actually kind of ridiculous because.
I had to have coverage from multiple different sources. I was not going to just take one place's coverage. Right. So I had C-SPAN up, CBS up, Fox up. And I'm walking around the house going between the different coverages of it, going for that. And also. I was up at 4 a.m. Why? Well, because that makes it 8 a.m. East Coast time, and I wanted to make sure I was getting all the coverage from everything. I literally was wandering around at 6.30 a.m. going, really? Really?
Yeah, you're better than I am because I only had Fox News on because, you know, I was like, I just wanted to watch the events. I didn't really care about the commentary. You know, I make up my own commentary in my head. So it doesn't matter. So I was just like watching, you know, the actual thing. But I think the sensational takeaway.
in the inauguration, there's two things I think that will be the most memorable that people will talk about. It's not going to be to Donald Trump's speech. It was fine. His speech was fine. And we have many audio clips that we're going to give you snippets of it. So you get a flavor in case you missed it. Number one, Melania's hat. I've got a couple of things about that.
Okay, we're going to get into the hat later. So we'll get into the hat. So the hat. And number two, Carrie Underwood's performance. Okay, those are two interesting takeaways. I spent, believe this or not, and it's going to be stupid, but I spent a lot of time watching the background. That was what I was watching. Yes, Trump was talking in the foreground. Yes, people were telling their tales.
I was watching in the background on what the different people, particularly our ex-presidents, vice presidents, and other people like that, what they were doing. Oh, it looked like Kamala sucked on a lemon. I don't even think that was a lemon, man. I think she got something that was just bad. She had, like, a stone-cold face, like, didn't crack a smile. But, Joe, there was a couple times where he was sitting there with his legs crossed and his face, his hand kind of...
And he had his little Joe smirk at different times. Oh, he was chuckling. I mean, there was quite a few spots where he was just a chuckling. Same with Bill Clinton. He was chuckling. Hillary actually laughed out loud. She did an LOL there at least once. i saw i saw i saw uh but you know i i will say it was it was i thought it was good i think
It was a good speech. I think Donald Trump hit all the right notes. It was clear he was talking to the American people. He wasn't talking to the people in the room. right he was very very much on point on message the way he's been consistently and if you see the actions he took which we will get into today. He has taken so many executive actions already, rescinding multiple things that Biden has done. We will get into all of that and so much more. But I think all in all, when you look at it,
I think it was a successful inauguration. I think if you were an American who voted for Trump, it gave you hope that he's going to do what he says. If you're not an American that voted for Trump and you listened to the speech, I think it's... going to be hard for you to say um you know that he you know he's the devil and things are going to be bad because what did he talk about he consistently talked about
American American issues first right the economy national security you know law and order you know getting rid of criminal gangs all kinds of stuff the thing that will trigger the lefty very much trigger the lefties. His pro-development stance, which is not a surprise to anybody because even in his speech he said, drill baby drill, right? He mentioned Alaska. It's going to trigger something in Alaska.
Because one thing he said, he made a point to say that we're going to rename Denali McKinley, right? He didn't use the term Denali. He just talked about McKinley. I've got to be honest with you. I'm like 50-50 on it. Honestly, I don't care. You know, it's like Denali McKinley. Like, to me, I still kind of refer to it as McKinley, but, you know, did Allie I refer to as the park? I mean...
The mountain. I'm kind of with you in that I'm 60-40 on it. I, for multiple years, refused to use it. It's Mount McKinley. That's what it always was growing up. They slowly got me over to the Denali.
have some issues with that in the fact that, and I think I see what Trump is doing. They've gone through, a segment of American society has gone through and has decided they want to rename all kinds of things back to their original names which a lot of these are in their original language which is an example yes yes well let's let's be honest as we look at nationals, monuments, and statues. I thought this is where you were going to go. They want to wipe out the white man, the colonists. Yes!
that's what they're doing i mean i mean i know it's not pc to say it but that's exactly what they're doing they're trying to wipe out the colonial imperial like type and i'm saying that with air quotes in case you know you can't see what i'm doing on the air but
that's what they're doing. They want to revise history, and they want to rewrite it. I mean, that's really what they want to do. And with Denali, the big argument for Denali is, well, it's what was originally used, and the Dena'ina Athabascans used this. Okay, so 1,000 people. used it, but nobody else did. Literally, that was that small group there. And I can see, you know, it means the great one and all of this, but.
It's not in a used language anymore. And this is where I have my problem with going back to all of these names is they're in languages that... aren't used anymore, or if they are, they're not commonly used. So, and I fall back to Yukiovic every single time. I can't spell it. I can pronounce it now, but I can't spell it for the life of me. You know, they changed it. Why? Well, because it was a feel-good thing.
Barrow was a perfectly good name. Everybody knew Barrow. You could literally say that, and it was like, yep, we know where that is. You could spell it. You could spell it and all that. And so I go back to a lot of these different things that they've changed the names on.
I mean, look around Anchorage. They put up all these place names for Anchorage they want us to go by. I can't spill 90% of them. I can't pronounce 80% of them. I'm going to stick with Muldoon. I'm not going to go with Grass Island. I'm sorry. Well, I was going to say, you're not the only one, but he definitely, Trump, like, snuck it in there. But, you know, he basically said, you know, we're coming back to common sense. You know, he...
He was very clear about it. I think he said this is going to be a revolution of common sense. And so he definitively said in his speech, there are two genders. That's it. I love that. That's what the federal government is going to recognize, two genders, period. And, you know, there we have it. So there is so many, so many. I mean, over 200 executive actions yesterday. Some of them were hiring decisions. Some of them were other types of things. Some of them were executive.
orders but remain in Mexico yeah with a stroke of a pen Trump has rescinded at least 78 fighting actions And they cover everything from DEI programs, gone. EV mandates for electric vehicles, gone. Benefits to illegals, gone. Federal workers back to work. I mean, a hiring freeze. I mean, there is so much to cover. But Alaska did not spare his pen. With a stroke of a pen, Trump took massive action.
to help Alaska develop our resources. We'll get into that. I mean, the EO, I spent hours yesterday reading all these executive orders. And I'm not exaggerating when I say I probably spent three hours. Oh, there were so many of them. Yeah, I probably spent three hours just reading executive order after executive order after executive order.
There were so many of them, but there were so many good little snippets. I told Daryl, we're going to do things a little different today. You notice we jumped right into the show because there's so much to cover. We are not going to do our typical announcements because I think...
covering presidential action, especially impacts to Alaska, is really important. So we're going to do that straight away. We have multiple audio clips that we're going to play for you today. What does he do? Oh, Joe Biden on his way out the door.
he grants preemptive pardons. This isn't even a thing. Like, what other president, like, this is, anyways. He grants preemptive pardons to retired General Mark Milley. Treason, let's be honest. What did he do? He was back channeling to the Chinese. Anthony Fauci. and members of the January 6th committee just hours before he left the administration. Okay, not entirely shocked, right? But one thing we're definitely not shocked about. What else did he do?
He pardoned members of his family. Not just all. I mean, everybody. We're talking ones you even hadn't heard of yet. Yeah, so we'll get into that here in just a second. But again, let's be honest. What does this prove? It proves there's criminality involved. And anybody can say whatever. Oh, well, this is just, you know, this doesn't prove criminality.
It kind of does. Actually, I'm going to say it does. Yeah. It does. You don't give a pardon to somebody who hasn't committed a crime. Yeah. And can I jump back to one thing really quick? So were you singing Old MacDonald all yesterday like I was?

In the final minutes of his presidency, Joe Biden pardons multiple members of his own family. Here we have it. This is coming from what article? I grabbed an ABC article here. The five preemptive pardons were issued to James Biden, Joe Biden's younger brother, Sarah Jones Biden, James' wife, Valerie Biden-Owens, his younger sister, and John T. Owens, her husband, Valerie's husband, and then Francis W. Biden, Joe's younger brother. Again, let's just say follow the money.
Where did the money from all these foreign powers come into? They got filtered through multiple, multiple LLCs, and then the beneficiaries became multiple members of his family. Again, Biden crime family. All you have to do is start with his son, Hunter, and then you look at Joe. He's the head of it. He's the kingpin. And so as he walks out of office, what this does is it effectively gives them a pardon going back to January 1, 2014, for any nonviolent crimes that they've committed.
That's what it says. Was nonviolent in there? I missed that part of it. Yeah, it was in there. And so I don't have it up in front of me. But, you know, that's my recollection when I read it. So as you look at this and you see the crimes that have been committed. by the biden family specifically a lot of different you know look acting as a foreign agent taking money from foreign governments in biden and hunter's case not um
not filing your taxes. I mean, these are things that everyday Americans would go to prison for for years. So, okay, now I have it in here. Executive grant of clemency. To all whom these present... shall come greeting it says being known that this day i joseph r biden jr president of the united states pursuant to my powers under article 2 section 2 clause 1 of the united states constitution
granted unto james b biden sarah jones biden valerie biden owens john t owens francis w biden a full and unconditional pardon for any nonviolent offenses against the united states which they may have committed or taken part in during the period from january 1st 2014 through the date of this pardon i'm just Let's just be honest. I missed that part of it. You don't pardon innocent people.
I'm just saying, you only pardon people who have committed crimes. So there you go. Or been charged with crimes or been in prison for crimes. As Zero and I were talking about, it's the only preemptive pardon I've ever heard of. is Nixon right when Nixon got his pardon but let's be honest Nixon was guilty like obviously And he was a Republican. See, I'm an equal opportunity Colorado. But there you have it. So is anybody surprised?
That dirty Joe Biden, crooked Joe Biden, on his way out the door issued all these pardons? No. The January 6th committee, what do we know about the January 6th committee? The January 6th committee, we know, they destroyed evidence. They suppressed evidence. They tampered with witnesses, right? Liz Cheney.
Coaching witnesses along, right? So what do we know about that? We know that they illegally wielded power and manipulated the process to go after a political rival. We know that. Selective prosecution. Yeah, we know, not even that. It was, you know, really meddling with justice. When you're coaching a witness and suppressing information, That would exonerate the target of your investigation. That's corruption. Valid point. So you look at the January 6th committee.
Like, honestly, who cares about Liz Cheney? Do you think Donald Trump was actually going to prosecute Liz Cheney? No. He wasn't. Did he ever prosecute Hillary? No. Was there a great deal of evidence that Hillary obstructed justice? Yes. Was she ever charged under Donald Trump? No. He never went after her. When he had all the evidence there was to have against Hillary Clinton, he didn't do it. So there's no evidence or even basis for belief that he was going to go after.
Liz Cheney. I mean, Liz Cheney wanted her five minutes of fame. But, you know, so again, so when you preemptively pardon all these people, it's because they did something wrong. That's it. So I don't care what he says. It's obvious to every American who has a working brain that, yes, he preemptively pardoned his criminal family. Yep, he did. Are any of us surprised? No, we're not.
None of us are surprised. Not one bit. I'm not surprised. Not one bit. All right, let's go to the phones, and Gary is with us. Good morning, Gary. Good morning. That was the best inauguration I've ever seen. I got up yesterday morning at 5 o'clock, and I only slept a couple hours the night before, but I tell you what, it was that president. is absolutely his age. And here he is at the ball last night, all dressed up with his wife, and I'm going like, how the heck, why isn't he in bed?
It was unreal. Yeah, he has stamina. And that family is a bunch of crooks. I think that's how history is going to look at it. Look, I don't think anybody with a red face can go out the door saying, you know, oh, my family is going to be targeted, so I'm going to pardon them so they can't be targeted.
Look, Gary, I don't need a presidential pardon. I've never done anything wrong to be arrested. So, again, most Americans are going to look at that and they see it for what it is. They see the money that has gone into the family, millions of dollars from overseas. They see the sale of access to the United States president for their own personal gain. That's really what we saw. And at the end of the day, nobody's going to be surprised at Crooked Joe.
Pardon his family. The damage that man and his family has caused our nation is absolutely pathetic. And they should be arrested for some of the stuff they've done. He's an absolute disgrace to our country. Donald Trump is absolutely an awesome individual, and he's got a great family. Anyway, thank you, and have a good week.

And I actually thought about this yesterday as they were extolling all the different things that Joe had done. So he didn't. pardon himself, which I was very surprised of that. I expected him to write his own pardon in there. But there was one other person that wasn't pardoned that actually surprised me.
Hillary Clinton? No. Dr. Jill was not pardoned. Oh. He did not pardon his wife. Interesting. I agree. As it was going on, I was literally like... I don't know if that's a slight and an elbow thrown at her. Her name must not be on any of the checks. Well, that's what I'm thinking. She literally made sure that she was walled off. And she probably was looking at him going, don't give me a pardon. You know I didn't do anything.
Well, you know, and this is why I say, when you start watching what he does and how he's acted, look, you know, remember the WhatsApp, you know, the little message that says, hey, I'm sitting here right here with my dad. and basically where's the money you know type of message from 100 by look
This is what RICO statues were designed for. It was to take down criminal syndicates. And the fact of the matter is, when you look at all the layers and all the accused crimes and all the money that flowed, I mean, it's just the only thing. The only reason he got away with it is because he's a high-faloon politician. That's why he got away with it. Because he was a Democrat. That was a high-faloon. If this was the Trump family, they'd all be in prison.
All of them. Just giving those pardons if this were the Trump family. They would have tried to put Trump in jail saying that was illegal. And may I say, if you want the greatest proof of illegality. I tell you, I told them you want that billion dollars, you fire that prosecutor. Otherwise, you ain't getting the money. That is influence peddling since how that prosecutor was prosecuting the company his son was. hired for.
Exactly. Well, and there's multiple audio clips in 2020 with Joe Biden when he was running for office saying that, you know, when they were talking about potentially Trump pardoning his family, which he never did. Why? Because they didn't need a pardon because they didn't commit any crime. So when you hear Joe Biden talk about in 2020, I would never do that. Oh, this is like inappropriate for him to even consider pardoning his family. Again, if it wasn't for a double standard.
some of these people would have no standards at all. Okay, we're going to go ahead and take a break. All right, before I go to the audio clip, we're going to start and kind of go in order. I'm going to walk you through the inauguration speech. There were some good clips in there. But before I do that, I want to go to Roland, who has called in. Good morning, Roland. Good morning. Now, I realize I didn't even realize that Nixon actually got a free pardon, too. But I've really never heard of a free pardon.
But that's beside the point. Can they go after these people civilly? Meaning the Biden for all their money that they took and Fauci for all the money that. He basically extorted through the companies that he owned and everything else. I think the answer to that is yes. Now, I will caveat this by saying I am not an attorney, but I've listened to a lot of attorneys debate this question, and they did bring up the civil action, but also states can go after them.
Because this only exonerates somebody from being prosecuted for federal crimes. It does not... A presidential pardon doesn't extend to state crimes, and I don't believe it will free people from civil liability. That's my understanding from all the reading I've done on it. So we'll see. And, in fact, I will tell you right now, a grand jury in Florida is looking into Anthony Fauci and things that he has, in fact.
Done so I won't be surprised if you see a especially out of the state of Florida potential state charges out of Florida for Anthony Fauci that would not surprise me Well, I'd like to see this pre-pardon thing go all the way up to the supreme court it's to me it's never really been tested you know uh it's been allowed with nixon apparently but uh you know to pre to pre-pardon you know, everybody in your family, I think there's a sticky wicket here somewhere.
Yeah, well, this is coming straight up. There's an essay that's listed on the constitution.congress.gov website. So this is, you know. a federal website. And it talks about the constitutional pardon. And it says, beyond textual limits, certain external constitutional and legal considerations may act as constraints on the power. And you're talking about the power of pardon. For instance, the court has indicated that the power may be exercised at any time after and then they insert an offense.
offenses commission so there has to be a crime in order for there to be a pardon and really what they're saying is a pardon can't extend number one the crime has already have to have been committed but number two you can't preemptively pardon somebody for future crimes. So the court has taken up pardons to some degree, but it's never really been tested to this level because nobody's ever done this, like just a broad swath of
I'm forgiving you for all crimes you've committed during this whole date range. Nobody's ever really seen that before. Sounds dictatorial to me. Yeah, so you bring up a really good point, Roland. I think there's more to say. I will get into it when I get into the executive orders, but...
I think this is going to be a very interesting conversation, and it's going to be one for the legal books for probably a century. I mean, this is going to be one for history for sure. When he first began his speech, this is the beginning of his speech, not the very beginning, because I cut out all the, you know, acknowledging everybody in the room.
room that like took five minutes. So Trump started with putting America first. We're getting there. I promise. The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. during every single day of the Trump administration, I will very simply put America first.
Our sovereignty will be reclaimed, our safety will be restored, the scales of justice will be rebalanced The vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and our government will end. And our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous, and free. America will soon be greater, stronger and far more exceptional than ever before.
I return to the presidency confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of national success. A tide of change is sweeping the country. Sunlight is pouring over the entire world. And America has the chance to seize this opportunity like never before. But first, we must be honest about the challenges we face. While they are plentiful, they will be annihilated by this great momentum that the world is now witnessing in the United States of America.
Okay, so those were the first opening comments of Donald Trump, and you can hear in that. He is outlining a lot of what he has said over and over again. And it's an America First agenda. And as we get into this America First agenda, what does this look like? Well, he comes out immediately and he issues. an emergency declaration on the southern border basically saying this is a national security issue and here we go. I mean, game on.
Like, as we get through the speech, he gets into more detail about a lot of these things. But what he meant was business. and he said it during the campaign and we see it in his speech and more importantly we see it through action all right we're going to go to the phones and randy is with us good morning sir well good morning miss sunshine and daryl a joke and a comment about the punch. All right, go for it. The joke is, why is the turkey, what do you call it, a Wolverine turkey?
What do you call a wobbling turkey? Yeah. I don't know what. A drunk. A wobbling turkey is a drunk? I can see that because Biden is quite the turkey, so. All right, what are your thoughts? Did you watch the inauguration yesterday? Oh, yes, multiple times. But anyway, back to the pundits. One thing that's kind of overlooked is now all these individuals that have been pundits, they have lost their rights before taking their fifth.
That being said, they can still be prosecuted as a state statute for state income tax evasion and any other things they can chop up.
Yeah, that's why I say I don't think it's over. You know, I think most important thing is that there's transparency, that people actually, we get to the bottom of it. Look, one of the first executive actions that President Trump did did was he got into a position of okay he did his exact executive orders for hiring a lot of people appointing his cabinet positions all of those other things But also, one of the things he did was
The title of it is Holding Former Government Officials Accountable for Election Interference and Improper Disclosure of Sensitive Governmental Information. Those 51 intel officers who signed that letter that said the Hunter left Laptop was all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation. He's revoked all their security clearances because they can't be trusted.
So, you know, that was the first thing. That was one of the first ones. Like I said, there's over 200 executive actions. They're not all EOs, executive orders, but there's lots of these executive actions. But in his executive order, order by this. He says right here, federal policymakers must be able to rely on analysis conducted by the intelligence community and be confident that it is accurate, crafted with professionalism, and free from politically motivated engineering.
to affect political outcomes in the United States. The signatories willfully weaponize the gravitas of the intelligent community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions. of the... of the impermature of the intelligence community to suppress information essential to the american people during a presidential election is an egregious breach of trust reminiscent of a third world country and now the faith of
Americans and all our other patriotic intelligence professionals who are sworn to protect the nation has been imperiled. He is not wrong. He's absolutely right. Basically, what the American people saw was a weaponization not only of the DOJ, but a weaponization of the intel community's, let's say, their... profession, their stature, their credibility.
And it was designed to sway an election. And so I think this should happen. I've been saying for a long time, I thought these 51 intelligence officers should have their security clearances revoked. need to know. Not everybody who had a security clearance should keep their security clearance. You should have to demonstrate a need, in my opinion, when you're out of the federal government. If there's a legitimate need, no problem with it. But if there's no legitimate need for it... Then I think...
You shouldn't have it in perpetuity. Yeah, but you know, that's how they make their money after they get out of there, especially those intelligence guys, is that I can still look at the secret stuff and I can tell you what's going on. Which, if it's secret stuff, they shouldn't. Look, there's a... legitimate need, even if you work for a private company. Think about people that work for Boeing. Boeing is one of the contractors that helped develop the F-22.
So if you have a legitimate deed and you're a developer, you're, you know, whatever, working for Boeing or some other company that is developing technology to help the United States military, you probably need a security clearance. I have no problem with that. But again, you have to have a legitimate need. If you have no need and you just want to keep it, I mean, I don't know about that. So I'm actually on board with this, but I think it should be more robust.
i think it should be observation yeah yeah yeah one is he did uh both uh both uh right uh Oh, birthright citizenship. Yeah, he ended birthright citizenship with an executive order. Yep, we'll get into that. And last night he told his chief of staff to find out what's going on with all these people. with all the drones going over the United States, eastern United States.
Oh, yeah. There's no doubt in my world. He's already been briefed on it. I think it has something to do with the U.S. government. I think the U.S. government knows exactly who it is if it's not us ourselves. Yeah. Yeah, great observations. Randy, thank you for the call this morning. All right, well, if you watch the Inauguration Day, Donald Trump referred to it as Liberation Day for millions of Americans. Why? Because you got your country back. We're reinstilling hope and trust in many of our institutions, giving people back the power that they so rightly have earned. But as we talk about it, You know, it was interesting as you watch the crowd, as Daryl said, because the sourest point I saw on Biden's face is when Donald Trump talked about a revolution of common sense.
And as we heard this, Daryl, can you cue up number four, please? As we heard about the revolution of common sense, as you think about these audio clips and you hear about what he's talking about, it's really hard for people to argue against it, right? Maybe some of the issues, we're going to play you a couple audio clips, but this one. When we start talking about America First policy, this is really what he's talking about. Today I will sign a series of historic executive orders.
With these actions, we will begin the complete restoration of America and the revolution of common sense. It's all about common sense. First. I will declare a national emergency at our southern border. illegal entry will immediately be halted and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came. We will reinstate my remain in Mexico policy. I will end the practice of catch and release.
And I will send troops to the southern border to repel the disastrous invasion of our country. Under the orders I signed today, we will also be designating the cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. Convoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. I will direct our government to use the full and immense power of federal and state law enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign gangs and criminal networks, bringing devastating crime to US soil, including our cities and inner cities.
As commander in chief, I have no higher responsibility than to defend our country from threats and invasions. And that is exactly what I am going to do. We will do it at a level that nobody's ever seen before. Next, I will direct all members of my cabinet to marshal the vast powers at their disposal to defeat what was record inflation and rapidly bring down costs and prices. The inflation crisis was caused by massive overspending and escalating energy prices.
That is why today I will also declare a national energy emergency. We will drill, baby, drill. Oh, I love it. Drill, baby, drill. There we have it, unleashing Alaska's energy. That's one of those executive orders we've talked about.
But, again, you have to think about this holistically because, you know, under the Biden administration, they have basically tapped our strategic petroleum reserve, run it to, you know, on fumes, basically. And he's talked about... those things he's talked about unleashing American energy dominance what does that mean when you do that not only are we reliant and we are we're relying on ourselves we're not relying on foreign
But by having cheap energy, it helps bring costs down. It creates stability. It brings jobs back. I mean, it just is such an underpinning core need in order to fix the economic situation that the United States has. United States is in. So that's number one. But then when you talk about the southern border, I mean, he's hitting all of the things that people cared about in this election. And he's doing them on day one. When I looked at the designation of terrorist cartels, 100% on.
on board with this look in this in this executive order it specifically says The cartels functionally control, through a campaign of assassination, terror, rape, and brute force nearly all illegal traffic across the southern border of the United States. In certain portions of Mexico, they function as quasi-government.
entities controlling nearly all aspects of society. The cartel's activities threaten the safety of the American people, the security of the United States, and the stability of the international order of the Western Hemisphere. Their activities, proximity to, and encourage into the physical territory of the United States pose an unacceptable national security risk to the United States. I don't know that anybody would argue with that. How is that wrong? I think it's completely right.
So this executive order, you know, dovetails into other ones. But I have to tell you, the list of executive orders, I can't even cover it all in one show. I'm just going to read you some of the topics that he has hit with some. of his actions yesterday.
Unleashing Alaska's energy, we went into a little bit of detail there, in which it dovetails into declaring a national energy emergency. Accountability, the ability to fire... government workers especially I mean he's also put a firing a hiring freeze in place punishment fitting the crime talking about the need for
Capital punishment for the most heinous of crimes. People over fish. He's talked about the California wildfires and the need to have water over there. He's talked about ending birthright citizenship. one of his executive orders. What else do we have here? Obviously declaring a national emergency at the southern border, revoking security clearances for some, withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization, releasing the January...
six hostages. That's what he called them, right? I don't think he used the term hostages in his EO, but he said that off the cuff. But all of the January 6th people, I think all of them are getting released. In the actual list, he lists about 12 people. And then through the rest of them, he says, It says here, commute the sentences of the following individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6th. And he lists about 12 people.
And then it goes on to say, grant a full, complete, and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to the events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6th. So he's granted that, which, you know, the left is going apoplectic over. So he has, I mean, you can't even cover it all in one show. You just can't. It's not possible. There's so many of them.
absolutely so many of them. All right, I'm going to go ahead and go to the phones real quick, and Doug is with us first. Good morning, sir. Yeah, good morning. Yeah, I'd like to address the January 6th thing. I recently read that the DOJ has 200 more people that they were or are planning on going after. I hope that includes them as well, because the harassment that happened, even up here in Alaska, going to Homer and accusing someone.
Some lady have been there when she was in Alaska all the time. Because her face recognition, she looked like that person. Yeah. You know, a lot of those people... were held without a right to see an attorney or any other privilege that any criminal, whether illegal or legal, has the right to, especially them being American citizens living in the United States, they were held without bail, without access to attorneys. It was just a general fight just to even get him to talk to him.
I saw one woman whose husband was held and she hadn't seen him in well over two years. She said she hadn't even been able to see him. They wouldn't let her in. to see him um so i will tell you in this executive order it does say the attorney general should administer the and effectuate the immediate issuance of certificates of pardon to all individuals described in section b above and shall
ensure that all individuals convicted of these offenses related to the events that occurred at or near the Capitol on January 6th who are currently held in prison are released immediately. It goes on to say, I further direct the Attorney General to pursue dismissal with prejudice.
to the government of all pending indictments against individuals for their conduct related to the events at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. So what that means is when they dismiss it with prejudice, they can't come back. That's really what that means. So it looks like he's covering literally everybody. Well, here's the difference between a man who says what he's going to do and a man...
in front of the American people on the news and everything else that he would not pardon his son. And who are you going to believe? You know, what do they say? Actions speak louder than words. And in this case, Donald Trump clearly meant business. I mean, he came into office on day one with a game plan and he effectuated it. And I got to tell you, I think.
up I think this is going to be an awesome four years I think he is really going to get done a lot of things he said he's going to get done will it all be easy no it will not be all easy because you still got to work with Congress on a lot of these things but To your point, actions speak louder than words. And the clear measure of a man is not just what he says, but what he does. And history will not look...
will not look kindly on Joe Biden. But I think history will show Donald Trump for who Donald Trump is, a man who means business and does what he says he's going to do. And the other point I wanted to make, and... I've been saying it and everybody's been saying it, but we kept getting lied to. I don't think Biden, I don't think any of the policies that he was pushing through were done by him.
Well, I will tell you, there's a great audio clip of Mike Johnson, Speaker Johnson, and I just didn't have time to play it today, but there's a great audio clip of him out there, and he's talking about a year ago he went in to meet with Joe Biden, and he was asking Joe Biden,
Biden about an executive order he signed specifically relating to LNG exports and banning, you know, LNG exports. And he says, why would you do this? And Biden said, I didn't do that. No, no. I just signed an EO that was going to study these. issue it wasn't going to do it joe biden literally didn't know he signed an executive order banning u.s lng exports he had no idea yeah
And these people just shoved it underneath his nose while he was half asleep and said, you know, sir, please sign this. And he did, unless someone forged it. But I think it's more of the... More the fact that they just put it underneath his face and he signed it. Yeah, yeah, I think you're right. And kept us in the dark, and that's how he became president.
They knew that he was faulty. They knew that he was, I mean, just blatant lies over four years. I'm thankful that Trump is coming in after the four-year break. Because I think he has a better plan. I think he's regulating himself. He's got people around him that are helping him maybe. Just not be such a, I want it this way and it's done this way or this way, you know, it's my way or the highway. I think he's got people, he's put together a group of people that can actually work together. I hope.

Does this policy advance America's security? America's prosperity, America's interests. I mean, he was very clear. Those were his goals. Those were Donald Trump's goals.
And if the answer is no, then we weren't going to pursue it. But Donald Trump had some massive, massive benchmarks that he put in his speech yesterday, talking a lot about American security, a lot about American energy. He also talked... He had some lofty goals going to Mars. He wanted to plant the stars and stripes on Mars. He talked a lot about common sense.
He talked about the military members that were discharged over not getting the COVID jab, reinstating them with full back pay. He talked a lot about common sense, as I said, but also... Stop weaponizing the DOJ. Those days are over. We are not going to go after our political rivals. Justice will be handed out fairly and impartially. And really what you heard was a theme. that all taken all together would reinstitute trust in a lot of these federal agencies.

What I really want to talk about is the executive order of opening up energy, you know, making it a national emergency. Right now our legislators in Juneau, I really hope they're paying attention. Forget the BSA increase that you want to do. Forget the defined benefits plan you want to do. That's just going to destroy the state. Right now, President Trump has opened up Alaska for business. So our legislators in Juneau need to make it.
I don't know, enticing for investors and do whatever they can to get them in here for our oil, mineral, gas, everything that we got here. And you're really going to lay the groundwork, the future for this state for the next 100 to 200 years. Like Rick always says from Power to the Future, nothing starts without energy production. And right now, these legislators can be remembered, along with Trump, as a golden age, that they really laid the groundwork.
state would be the Abu Dhabi. We'd be so wealthy. We'd have so much money. All those problems would be solved with infrastructure, schools, hospitals, your kids staying here, getting good jobs, a career path forward. It talks about when he declares an energy emergency, he says, this active threat to the American people from high energy prices is exacerbated by our nation's diminished capacity to insulate itself from hostile foreign actors. Energy security...
is an incredibly crucial theater of global competition. In an effort to harm the American people, hostile state and non-state foreign actors have targeted our domestic energy infrastructure, weaponized our reliance on foreign energy, and abused their ability to cause swings within international commodity markets. An affordable and reliable domestic supply of energy is a fundamental requirement for the national and economic security of any nation. I think he's right.
Yeah, 100%. And I know these legislators listen to your show. I mean, it's kind of popular. So I don't care if they have a D or R in front of the name. If they don't recognize this opportunity and seize it. In this state, I'm sorry, it's dead. It's not going to be what people thought of back in the day.
how the oil money was rolling. If they do not seize this opportunity, Alaska is going to go bye-bye. I'm telling you that right now. So they have a unique opportunity for the success of the state, the citizens, and the country. Yeah, I think you're exactly right. The first, I would even say 12 hours of Trump's presidency, he has issued more orders. He has come in to realign multiple federal agencies. I mean, it is unbelievable to see how much they have gotten done on day one. As we look here, he's already going after the Pentagon. What do I mean by that? Fox News is already reporting the Commandant of the United States Coast Guard has been terminated over concerns about the border, recruitment concerns, and erosion of trust.
According to a senior Department of Homeland Security official, it's been confirmed by Fox News Admiral Linda Lee Fagan has been terminated by the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security, Benjamin Huffman. Fagan has demonstrated leadership deficiencies, operational failures, and an inability to advance the strategic objectives of the Coast Guard. Heads are rolling. I got to tell you, the adults are back in the room and they ain't playing. You know, as Biden left,
He issued multiple pardons to his family, to the January 6th committee, to Fauci, to General Milley. I mean, people that have, I mean, look, when you look at the connections between China and Fauci and Milley and, he did back door into China I mean you could make a reasonable argument that this was something that was it adverse to the national interest of the US potentially treasonous
But these are the pardons that Joe Biden handed out. And it's interesting because now they're going to try to make the argument, well, these don't prove guilt. These don't prove guilt. These preemptive pardons don't prove guilt. But interesting enough, Biden's own just... The Justice Department told a court just recently, I have this actual screenshot here, the Justice Department sent a message on Wednesday to January 6th defendants, this was last week,
Accepting a pardon from Donald Trump is a confession of guilt for your crimes. A pardon at some unspecified date in the future would not unring the bell of conviction. Federal prosecutors argue... In a January 6 case before the U.S. District Court, Judge Carl Nichols, in fact, quite the opposite. The defendant would first have to accept the pardon, which necessitates a confession of guilt. So even Biden's own deal.
is saying if you take a pardon, you're saying you're guilty of a crime. I'm just throwing it out there. All right. Now, we need to get back to this. Well, also being on hold, I'm listening to Trump and the people applauding. And doesn't it sound like we're in like a real heavy downpour of rain when the people applaud? Don't it just sound like a really one of those storms? You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah. Well, I've got to tell you, watching it was like watching a State of the Union. Only about half of the room was standing or clapping. But, you know, nonetheless, it was a great speech, and I think there's great things in store.
And the other thing, too, because I know you're going to go quick. We're losing time here. We got the president sitting here, and I love that, the president, not the acting president, the president. And he's talking about up here for Alaska for everything that's where they're going to go and start it, rocking and rolling again. But when you're serving that four years and then you get out.
It's like, is there any way he can lock this thing in with contracts to where whoever comes in behind can't do the nonsense? That is great. Yeah, that is a great question because, look, Trump's able to walk in and undo what Biden has done. It'll take congressional action to make it law. And so I think that's exactly what needs to happen. You hit on the right note there because that's exactly what needs to happen.

Usually they're done in a time when the Congress won't take action, right? But they do not replace congressional acts. And I think Lady hits on a point that's really important.
I'm just going to go through and name some of these presidential actions. Guaranteing the state's protection against invasion. Restoring names that honor American greatness. Designating cartels and other organizations as foreign terrorist organizations. reforming the federal hiring process and restoring merit to government service.
