Many people ask themselves; why does the brain look so wrinkly? The simple answer to the question is that it makes more room for information. if you would flatten out the wrinkles, and make it a smoother surface, the brain would hold about a third of the capacity. If we look at other animals, such as the frog, the brain is smoother looking which also makes for a more primitive being.
