Today's guest is Gissele Gajate Garrido, Director of Data Science at EY in Virginia. Gissele has a PhD in Economics and over 18 years of experience designing, leading and implementing creative analytic solutions. She has focused her work on applied behavioral analysis that ranges from impact evaluation in developing countries, consumer behavior in the CPG Industry and People Analytics. Gissele believes using behavioral economics to inform Machine Learning models is key to successful analytics in the future. 

Currently, Gissele leads the Advanced Analytics and Forecasting Lab at EY, which provides a diverse set of analytic tools to leadership in order to facilitate strategic decision making. She has a passion to deliver high-impact actionable results and advance strategic decisions that drive profitable growth by producing insight-based recommendations. She is also a dedicated mentor that displays an empathetic and energetic leadership style by promoting collaboration and creating an environment of trust that allows a diverse team to feel comfortable, valued and supported.
