Hello, welcome to the show today. We're going to talk about this one major shift that you could make. Literally two day. To start texting your sales. Through your social media for your boutique, for your brand, for your business. As long as you're selling physical products, I'm your girl to teach you how to do this. So. We are going to really dissect one of the most important, valuable things that you will actually be able to use to.

You do to put into practice right now, that's going to be so game-changing for you. And I love, love, love. When I see my clients make the shift because it's just so eyeopening. Because what happens is, and this is probably you too. So many of my clients, when we first start working together or they first jump into one of my programs. This is what I hear. And I hear this from you guys on social media too. So I know this is like truly such an issue that 99% of businesses are facing.

So, what I see is. I'll come to me and they'll say, Allie, here's the deal. Aye. Have been posting on social media consistently. I will spend hours getting ready. Getting my products ready, steaming them. You know, thinking about what I'm going to do, putting on all my makeup, getting in my cute outfits, making a bunch of videos. And no matter what, every single time I post it, I feel like it's fricking crickets out there. No one is paying attention to me.

No, one's watching my stuff and my stuff is fricking awesome. So what is going on? I is this you, if this is you just raise your hand right now and in the car or wherever you are listening to this podcast go, oh my gosh, I, so this is me, me, me. And what happens is we do this over and over and over and over again. And it kind of like becomes a little bit of a buzzkill for us because we're like, okay. We're doing everything I think we should be doing. Um, being quote unquote, consistent.

I'm showing up, I'm showing off all my cute products, but I'm still not really seeing any real traction when it comes to getting people off of social media, onto your website and actually buying from you. And every single time it comes down to this one thing. And I go and I look at their content. And I see instantly that this is what's happening and it sticks out to me like a sore throat, a sore thumb. But you, you don't even realize it's going on.

So what's happening is when you're creating your content. You're creating it through the lens of how can this help my boutique sell more inventory? How can I sell out of this product? How can I make more money for my boutique? How will this piece of content benefit you? This is so common. And like, obviously, right. It's your social media page, you're posting about your products. So you want things to benefit you.

But at the end of the day, this is a one way street to frustration and burnout and certainly low sales. And really where you feel like you're at a dead end and you're like, okay, I don't know what else to do. So what I teach my clients instead. And what I really want you to learn from this episode is. Instead of showing up and posting and thinking about. How can this help your boutique? I want you to instead show up and post and think about. How can this help my customer?

Oh, This one shift will make you so much money. This one shift is how you will actually be able to take people off of the internet onto your website and handing over their credit card on a regular basis. If you want to hear the fricking Shopify to chains, go off all day long teaching teaching, you know, that feeling, that sound, we all know and love. And that feeling that you get when you hear that noise, it's that excitement, that joy, that like, yes, we're doing it. Vibes.

And you're getting that consistently. The way you're going to do that is by totally reframing. How you show up on social media. And this is why I love helping my clients get through this little bridge from where they are to where they want to be. It's by crossing the bridge of changing how you actually put your intention behind your social media posts. And this seems like.

A simple theory and truly it is, it is a simple theory, but what's hard or can be challenging is understanding how to make this work for you in your boutique because everybody. Is different. Every business boutique. Brand, whatever it is, you all offer something special and something unique and something that your customers that you can tap into with your customers that nobody else can. This is why it drives me insane. When people say things like, oh, it's oversaturated.

Or whatever the case is that people say about their niche. It will never be oversaturated because people will be obsessed with you for the way that you do things, but you got to show up and talk to them. Like they are real people. You cannot show up and talk in your content or speak in your content or show up in your content with just, hi, I'm this boutique and this is my new arrival or hi, I'm such and such business. And this is my new product. That will not land for anybody.

And it's exactly why you feel invisible out there. And I know you want to be known. You're like, I want like people to know that I exist. This is the way. You start showing up in your content and putting your customers first and everything else will fall into line. Everything else will fall into place for you. So what could this look like? If you're showing up on. On social media and you're trying to really speak to your customers.

You have to think about how is what your selling going to improve or affect. Or help. Or in some way, Be useful in their life. You showing up and saying, I've got a new arrival. Let me show it to you. Does not show them. How that new arrival can help them. But if you start speaking to them, like real people, or like your friend, like your best friend, if you saw something. At let's say Nordstrom and you know, your best friend would love it.

You don't call her and go, oh my God, Nordstrom just got a new arrival. They just finished unboxing it and putting it up. You would go into, how is this going to actually be something that your best friend is obsessed with? Oh, my God, Shelly. I know you've been looking for something perfect to wear on your date night next week with the new guy that you just met. And I know you want his head like his jaw to drop. When you walk in the room.

You don't want to just be in like some random ass boring outfit, like you want. You want his eyeballs to pop out of your head? Holy crap. I'm at Nordstrom and I just found the perfect dress for you. This is what it's like. So, what you're doing is you're painting a picture of how the actual product, right. Can fit into your BFFs life. You're not just saying, oh, it's on the floor and it's this.

And they just got it two weeks ago and it was so hard to get and we had to wait for the shipping people to actually the, like all the stuff that I see on social media. And I'm just like, your customer does not care. Your customer doesn't care that it took two extra weeks. Your customer doesn't care. They don't even care that it's like, you know, the newest, whatever. They just want you to tell them. How it helps them. Another example is let's say genes, right? Let's say you're selling jeans.

Most people will show up and be like, I knew a rival brand new pair of jeans. Look how great it looks with this cute sweatshirt. This top end sweatshirt are available right now on my website. Go buy them. It's like, who cares? Who cares? They don't care. That's why they're not buying your stuff because you're not speaking to them. What you're doing is talking about your boutique in that kind of post. If that's what you're selling jeans and a top, and that's how you show up and present it.

All you're doing is talking about your own boutique and they don't, they don't want to hear that they don't resonate with that. You do, but they don't. And it's about them. They're the ones that, the ones that are spending the money. Not you. Okay. You're buying the product, but if you want to sell it, you got to speak their language. This is called messaging by the way. I have a whole training on this inside the trendsetter men membership called million dollar messaging where I break this down.

This is all about your messaging and how you're speaking in your content. So if you're selling a pair of jeans, it's not, again, I just got this new pair of jeans. It goes great with the sweater we have. It's. If you've been looking for a pair of jeans that you can actually wear all day chasing around your toddler, because you're tired of wearing fricking leggings every day. And you're like, let me at least feel like an adult and a human. And let me put on a pair of jeans.

These genes are actually going to be able to spend the whole day and they're going to be so comfortable. They're not going to stretch out and give you saggy butt syndrome. They're going to be so. Comfortable. You're going to feel like you can like bend over, do all the things you need to do. And at the end of the day, you're going to be like, oh my gosh, I survived an entire day chasing around my toddlers and an actual real piece of clothing that is not pajama pants or leggings.

That is speaking to a customer. That's putting your product into their life instead of your life. Can you see the big, the difference there? Can you see how this is totally going to 10 X, your sales, when you can master this skill? If you keep showing up. Selling your new arrivals day after day after day after day, you're going to keep ending up with the results that you have. If you start actually showing up with messaging with intention and thinking about your customers.

And you build this skill, which I can fricking help you do DME, and we will support you through this. This is how you're actually going to be able to 10 X your sales. You're going to show up differently. You're going to show up with your customers at the forefront of your mind. This 11 minutes. That we just spent talking about this. It was literally going to change the entire game for you. I cannot wait for you to start doing this. DME.
