One of the things I want to talk to you about today, specifically. And I was having this conversation with one of my clients inside the sales lab. Is starting to get more organized overall as a business owner.
So we were talking about like, in terms of social media, how you approach social media, and if you're still approaching it from just posting on a whim, when you quote, unquote, feel like it, or if you have a really thought out plan and strategy behind all the actions that you do, this is called your intention. So when you want to, up-level your business, you want to make sure that everything you do is with intention. And this does so many things for you. Number one. This is a big one.
You're not going to feel so fricking chaotic about being a business owner and what you have going on on a day-to-day basis. This is one thing that is a major hangup for business owners, boutique owners, brand owners. Is that they're always operating from a sense of like high anxiety, high chaos, high to-do list, high, got to get it done high, got to get it figured out and running at that level of like, Hi anxiety eventually leads to total burnout. Okay. That's the reality.
That's what you're facing. If you're always operating your business on a whim and on the, like, what's the next thing on my to-do list. So what we need to do instead, and this again is going back to part of your glow up era, instead of showing up every day for your business, just like, okay, what do I have to do today? I have so many things to. Uh, figure out too. I have so much content to record. I have new arrivals coming in left and right. I I'm running around with my, my head.
A chicken with my head cut off, you know, the saying. I butchered it. No pun intended. But, you know what I'm saying? Just that feeling, that spazzy feeling. We need to eliminate as much of that as possible. And the reason why. And I talk about this again, all the time inside the trends that our membership and my girls in sales lab. Is that. Sales. Crumble under chaos. Okay. This is the part two of this. So number one is that once you get organized, you will feel so much better.
As a business owner you'll have clarity. You'll make better decisions. You'll, you'll be calmer. You'll be a better mom, a better wife, a better sister, a better daughter, whatever the case is. Overall, you will be a better person when you get a handle on the daily tasks of your business. So that's the first part of it. Okay. You upleveling as a person. Now, the second part of this is you up leveling your business. When you start putting systems in place and you become more organized.
Your business is going to start to thrive. Because businesses crumble under chaos. Okay. And they thrive under systems. The more systems that you have in place, the more sales you will get because you are operating from a place where, you know, what's going to happen. Every single day. And what that does is that. Builds momentum. The same actions. Moving forward every day with intention starts to build incredible momentum for you and your business. And what's funny is at first, you.
You may feel like, okay, well, this feels like very basic, very easy. If you're used to being a spazz 24 7, and you start really like pulling back and honing in on the things that are actually important, you're going to feel so much resistance because you're going to be like, wait, I'm used to being like. Majorly. Like high anxiety or majorly, just like that feeling that amped up feeling where like, oh, I got to get it done. And then you start to organize your day.
And start doing using more intention. You start eliminating as much chaos as possible. You start really focusing. This is what I, what I call is part of your glow up era. Is becoming a refined. Extraordinarily focused business owner. I had to change rooms. So if the, if the noise level changed. I had to move the location in here. My daughter wanted to play in the living room. So we're in a different room, but.
When you start doing this, you're going to immediately see the change in your business and you're going to go, oh my gosh, this is what Allie was talking about. Okay. I get it. I get why this is so important to glow up. Because you cannot run a successful business, especially if you want to, you're wanting to hit seven figures, go big. You want the million dollar company you want to be wildly known. You want to have the best boutique you've ever dreamed of.
You have to start refining your systems and your processes, because this is where you're going to start being able to, again, increase your momentum. And stacking sales. And one thing that kind of really bugs me. About social media. And specifically I find in the boutique industry or like brand ownership, you're starting a clothing brand or whatever it is, is that people online really normalize. Like being chaotic as a business owner, like as if that's okay.
And that's the way to build a business. But what drives me insane is that that's actually the opposite. Of what it takes to become successful. When you operate in chaos, you operate in a place where you're never going to be able to climb out of that. And see the big picture and see what you could be accomplishing if you just. We're always operating with intention.
And so it drives me insane when I see these posts and other small business owners are commenting and they're like, oh yeah, it's so crazy. Being a small business owner. Like we have so much on our plate and it's so chaotic and I have so much going on and. No. We cannot accept that as okay. Cause that's just going to leave you. At the bottom of the barrel.
With everybody else, who's trying to catch a break somehow on social media or like trying to like, you know, swim their way to the top, but they just can't get there because they're always being dragged back into the chaos. That they think it's quote unquote, okay. To be in because that's how every business operates. I'm telling you right now, the best businesses, and this is definitely from personal experience.
The more systems we have in the plate in place, the more intention we get, the less chaos we are in. And the more specific we get about, of every action we take, we take. The more sales we have, the more success we have, I can not even tell you. In the past year. In my personal glow up era, how much has changed in my business? I mean, we're doing sales that are just insanity right now.
And I know, I know I've talked about this before, but I want you to understand that this is not just a flippant thing. This is the actual reality of being a million dollar business owner. The more you improve yourself, the less chaos you have around yourself, whether it's in business or in your life. This also means. Your life. Okay. What's going on around you? Where are you allowing and accepting chaos to be?
Okay. I know I was totally guilty of that and I'm like, why am I buying into the idea that being a mom that works from home and has two toddlers. Why am I accepting the fact that it, my day can just be out of control chaos all day. No, let's put in some systems. Let's figure it out. Okay. Mom works from this time to this time, then we play. Then we have lunch. Then we play. Then you guys take naps. Then I work. Then you wake up. I make you dinner.
So we put in systems that make life around me, less chaotic because the less chaotic I feel the more my business skyrockets. So this is the two fold I was talking out in the beginning about in the beginning. It's chaos as a, you, as a person, we got to eliminate and chaos in your business, we got to eliminate and the more elimination of chaos you, you can figure out and you can do the more refined you become, the more extraordinary you become as a business owner, but also as a person.
It's amazing how much better I feel on a daily basis waking up and knowing that I'm not going to have to face 12 hours. Chaos every day. It's a total game changer.
