Episode description

I had a chance to fill-in on the Erick Erickson Show all last week and had some fantastic guests join me. For those who missed all or part, I am going to release each hour of each day (with commercial breaks edited out) so you can listen at your leisure.

In hour three on Tuesday, I opened with my confusion over the President's Independence Day speech at Mount Rushmore vs. comments from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Seattle City Councilwoman Kshama Sawant. In the former, the president was mocked for being patriotic and for loving the United States. In the latter, both women want to completely "dismantle" America as it is constituted and create a socialist/marxist future and they are applauded as courageous Americans. It seems we are living in a backward world where the definitions of words no longer mean what they used to mean. Other topics include the possible banning of TikTok, overcoming fear and embracing logic and reason, which can open your view of the world and the opportunities before you. We do circle around to safety and security and the mob mentality.
