Conversation with Michele Exner - Parents Defending Education

On today’s special bonus episode, recorded live from the Road to Majority Conference in Washington, D.C., put on by the Faith and Freedom Coalition, I was able to sit down with Michele P. Exner, Senior Advisor with Parents Defending Education.

Parents Defending Education is a national grassroots organization working to reclaim schools from activists imposing harmful agendas. Through network and coalition building, investigative reporting, litigation and engagement on local, state and national policies, they are fighting indoctrination in the classroom — and promoting the restoration of a healthy, non-political education for our kids.

Prior to joining PDE, Michele spent nearly 15 years managing press and communications at various levels of government and the private sector, including at the Office of the Speaker of the House, the U.S. Senate, CBS News and various Department of Defense organizations. Michele began her career serving as an active-duty Marine officer. She is the mother to a son and daughter who currently attend elementary school.
