There are two original research features: one, the CE feature, is a qualitative survey of nurses’ experiences with rapid response teams. The other research feature is an analysis of the foreign nurse recruitment industry which raises questions about the need for accountability in the industry. There are also articles on using the level of glycemic control to inform postop care; understanding IUDs, and an installment in our series on expanding nursing education capacity funded by the Center to Champion Nursing in America (CCNA) at AARP; plus news, Reflections, Drug Watch and more. There’s also two podcasts: one with Susan Shapiro, author of the article on rapid response teams and the other with Polly Pittman, author of the article on the recruitment industry.
