Episode description

To mark the 10-year anniversary of the retail distribution review (RDR), we look back on how the reforms came about, what impact they had on the advice market and ask if they were a success. In this 3-part series we speak to the key players involved, at advice firms, the FCA and in the industry to dig deep into the biggest ever change for the UK advice market. In episode one we spoke to Phil Melville, one of the first advisers to move away from commission, as well as David Ferguson, co-founder of Nucleus, Frank Dobson, audience development director Citywire and David Geale, director retail banking FCA.
