Episode description

It is said that a lie becomes the truth, if it is repeated enough with one another. Without investigation, the truth is often hidden in plain sight. “In the late 1500s,the Conquistadors of Spain were down in South America (in what is now Peru) looking for gold. They didn’t find much gold but they did find a plant that they took back to Europe. It was the potato! The strange thing is that the Europeans went from a condition of thinking that the potato was poisonous (b/c it comes from a plant family that has a large number of poisonous plants in it) to one of the large-scale dependence on it. (Think ‘Potato Famine’) Of course, this change of understanding took place over a long period of time. The world seems to always behave that way. We pick up some screwball idea that is based on a half-truth and let it grow into a monster the blinds as to what is really happening.” Becoming Your Own Banker - R. Nelson Nash Life insurance and the Infinite Banking Concept is often this blindspot Nelson Nash spoke of in the above quotation. We hope the understanding of what is “really happening” with this concept dawns on the world sooner than later. THIS IS THE GOLD!
