What's up ya'll!  Over here doing our best to observe a tremendous amount of social distancing, and got a chance to hang out with Skyler 'The Bearded Barbell' Woolard to get down to business about training during challenging times, perspective on fitness and the sport of powerlifting.  It was also great to just spend some time catching up on stuff from the old days.  For those who don't know him, Skyler is an Elite powerlifter and strength coach in Greenville, NC.  We spent a lot of years sharing the training floor at Tier 1 - most of the time was spent busting each others balls, busting other peoples balls, or if we had time, coaching athletes.  

Its hard to believe its been almost 10 years since we first met, and we've seen the continuing evolution of the fitness industry, strength communities, and functional training through very different lenses - even though we spent much of it training under the same roof.  Check this episode out for a peak into where we think things are heading, what athletes took the lockdown the hardest, and why we might just be living in the platinum age of strength training.
