It's OFFICIALLY football season! Much like the moments before a football game starts and the team runs out of the tunnel and under the lights for the game, we should be people that LACE EM' UP daily as we run out of the tunnel.

Your 44 today looks into two LACE EM' UP stories in the Bible.

  1. Acts 12 - Peter
    1. Peter is awaiting his coming death and is sleeping between two soldiers until an angel comes to him and tells him to LACE EM' UP.
  2. Genesis 5 - Enoch
    1. Enoch is known as a man who walked faithfully with God. We can assume that he was a man that LACED EM' UP on the daily and lived faithful to God.

Jesus doesn't specifically say to lace them up but when you read between the lines of of what he says in Luke 9:23 it reads "If you want to be my follower, (As you walk out of the tunnel and into the bright lights) you must turn from it being about you, turn from your selfish ways, (be about the name on the front and not the back) take up your cross DAILY  (Lace em' up DAILY) and FOLLOW ME."

Let's go!

Let's roll!

How do you LACE EM' UP each day?
