013 - Emily MacKay

Emily MacKay is an ER nurse who has a passion for all things outdoors. We couldn't fit it all in in just one hour, so we focus primarily on her recent accomplishment of running the Chiggy Ultra in Cape Chignecto, a trail race that's slightly more than 50km and includes just over 2000m of elevation. Keep listening to hear about how her race went, and how she manages to balance her training while working a two-days-two-nights-four-days-off schedule in the emergency department.
