Welcome to the Nervous System Reset

Welcome to the 28-day nervous system reset. I'm Glenn Osland, a licensed therapist in Arizona. And if you're one of my clients, this series has been specifically designed to support you outside of our sessions. It uses binaural audio beats to guide your brainwave states into a healthy, sustained, natural calm. It won't replace what we're doing in therapy. That's something we do together, but it will help prepare your mind and body to go deeper into the work we have already started.

Preparing for Deep Relaxation

You might let your shoulders soften. And your job. Unclench. This is week one. We're building. We will practice one. breathing technique. There's no wrong way to do this. Experience here. Whatever. is right for you. You might again.

Guided Diaphragmatic Breathing Practice

by simply noticing the rhythm that's already there. The quiet, faithful rise and fall. You allow yourself to soften just a little. There's no wrong. way to do this. Bring one gentle hand. To your belly. Let it rest there. And as you breathe in. You might notice. Slowly rising. Like a wave. And as you breathe out. A rhythm older than thought. This is diaphragmatic breathing. Some call it belly breathing. It is simply allowing the diaphragm to To lead the dance of breath. The jaw relaxes.

The mind...quiet.

Mind-Body Connection Through Awareness

You are building the mind, body, link. And if the mind wanders Because this practice is not about control. It's about Awareness. It's about awareness. And now you may feel your spirits rise. So take one last Easy breath. And when you're ready. Well open your eyes gently. Knowing you have created a space within you.
