S1 Ep19: The Wendigo

The Wendigo. Perhaps the most feared of land-dwelling cryptids.  We have to admit, Bigfoot, Dogman, and Mothman don't exactly send shivers down our spines but when you mention the Wendigo a certain horror immediately takes hold. Indeed, even just saying its name is said to attract it to you... 

But what is the Wendigo? We have ideas of what the Wendigo is because of various shows, games, movies, and other forms of entertainment.  We picture this cryptid as a giant, skeletal forest dwelling predator with the skull of a great deer or elk but is that what a Wendigo actually looks like? And what exactly IS a Wendigo? Do we really know?
