It’s no secret there has always been tension between the black community and police officers. With the help of social media it has become more publicize and initiated some much needed conversations. In this episode the ladies invited the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion of the University of New Haven, Dr. Lorzeno Boyd and Officer Daniel Tilley to dive deeper into the relationship between police officers and the black community. The guests shared their personal experiences of being a black police officers, police academy training, how to change the narrative and create empathy between the community and law enforcement, and more!
