Jason (00:00):
Jason Danny, what a week? Oh my God. That Monday morning, that Monday morning was very stressful because it was a launch of something that you may have seen if you have been following our socials. But that Monday morning was launch day of something that we'd been working on for a very long time, and it was a morning that my internet decided to go, not today. Oh my God, that's so stressful. We both got up early, okay, we're just going to finalise details, get the website sorted, get everything in place, and then my internet decided to go from 700 megabytes a second to 1.05 megabytes.
Danny (00:36):
However you tried to blame me as well. I'm like, mate, you keep freezing. You're going in slow motion.
Jason (00:42):
No. I was like,
Danny (00:44):
No, you're going in slow motion. Yeah,
Jason (00:45):
You're in slow motion Gene's doing fine. I her
Danny (00:47):
Work, I was like, I've just checked my internet. It's fine. Maybe check your internet. He's like, it's not mine. Internet. It's not mindset
Jason (00:53):
How
Danny (00:53):
You got possibly v. I've got two gigabyte internet. Look at me. Yeah. Well how's that for the Humble Pike? It was your internet. It was absolutely ghost zero point. What was it? Sorry, zero point
Jason (01:03):
What? It was 1.05 megabytes per second download.
Danny (01:09):
You might as well be on dial up.
Jason (01:10):
It was absolute torture. I had so much to do that morning and I basically was on the phone with Danny, basically just giving him instructions back, I need you to do this. I need you to do this. In the meantime, I'm on contact the Vodafone to try and figure it out and as soon, soon as I got enough speed to get on their website and run a test, they were like, everything's fine. At that point they realised, oh shit, we've been found out. Let's just speed that guy up. And then I was back to normal. Oh my God. But back to normal was 15 minutes to go before I decided lunchtime.
Danny (01:38):
It was a little bit stressful.
Jason (01:39):
Oh my God.
Danny (01:40):
But we made it. We it. We posted it out.
Jason (01:43):
The video was released announcing that wedding video of her summit. Holy shit.
Danny (02:01):
You'll have seen that. We dropped our exciting news on Monday this week.
Jason (02:07):
That fun little video that let me tell you, it looks flawless. The outtakes will get shared at some point.
Danny (02:13):
Oh my god, that took a lot longer than it should have.
Jason (02:16):
Yeah. We realised when we planned it out that, okay, so we're going to have to walk and talk here for quite a bit. We all know how it goes. Even if you've got a groom doing a letter and they're not confident or saying something to the camera, they go, I want to just do this in a couple takes or a couple things there. Yeah, that happened, but
Danny (02:36):
It's good. And shout out to Scott, Scott and Dana from RPL Media for helping us with the shooting of that done. Stellar job, guys. Well thank you so much.
Jason (02:47):
Yes, we took over St. Luke's that morning, walked in there and thought, okay, let's try next. Get this idea. We wanted to obviously communicate as much as we can and yeah, the video was fun to make, super fun to edit and we'd been sitting on that for weeks, just waiting to share it with as many people as possible.
Danny (03:05):
But thank you for all the lovely comments on the video. Glad you loved it. And to be quite a few comments calling us the Anton deck of wedding video. Who
Jason (03:16):
Has the bigger forehead
Danny (03:17):
Of us? I dunno. I've got a massive
Jason (03:20):
Naper. Yeah, same to be fair. So we're just a couple of ants here,
Danny (03:25):
But yeah, I thought that was quite funny. But yeah, thanks so much for all the love and support on the video. So let's get to the thing that everybody wants to know, what have we got planned for the summit? So at the time of recording, and if you're listening to this on the day that this podcast goes out, tickets are not live yet. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, on the 6th of December, 2024. Subscribe to our mailing list to be in the know when tickets do go live. We may send a little message out to our subscribers on the mailing list for some early birds, so keep an eye on that.
Jason (04:08):
So we're absolutely buzzing to have you all join us in Glasgow because what a day we've got planned. I look at the lineup and I go, that is awesome. There's so many people there.
Danny (04:20):
Not only just the speakers on that front as well. The industry pros that are going to be there are, I'm super excited about the value that they're actually going to bring to people because it's not only, I think for us in running the event, we obviously wanted wedding filmmakers there and obviously they're a massive part of it, but also we wanted people there that are absolutely killing it in their fields, in their creative fields. That forms part of our business as you know, and that comes to, for instance, the branding and web design, the Google and meta ads and copywriting. These are all things that we need as part of our wedding films businesses, but maybe are not always covered at events like this. So this is where we wanted to bring something just a little bit different but different but impactful that will actually help to make a change within your business. So for instance, if you come to the event and you're not too clued up in meta ads, we want you to walk away from it going, you know what? I'm actually, I'm going to start putting on Google and Meta Ads because I feel like I now have the tools or the knowledge or I have alleviated the fear of the unknown from putting those ads on. That's what we want you to come away from the summit with is the feel empowered to go and make a difference in your business.
Jason (05:33):
And sometimes when you're sitting on a seat and just listening to people talk, you're just writing notes away. I mean that's valuable and stuff, but sometimes you just want to have a one-on-one conversation with someone. So that's why we've got speakers, but we also have station experts that you can walk up to in our breaks and ask questions. If something is niggling you about meta Google ads or something is niggling you about branding, you're going to have a chance to have a conversation with someone because we've got stations up throughout the summit that you can walk up and have a conversation with someone who knows their stuff. And we've had conversations with these people before and ask questions and was like, okay, okay. And that's what we thought we wanted to give people access to conversations like that.
Danny (06:14):
Exactly, exactly. So the format of the event will be we will have our four speakers. You've seen who they're going to be. So we have Matt Johnson from Who is Matt, which yeah, I mean
Jason (06:29):
If you're a videographer, you know who Matt Johnson is,
Danny (06:31):
You know who Matt is. He's been everywhere forever and very recognisable face, even more recognisable beard. So really excited to just meet Matt in person. I think I'm going to be a little bit starstruck just because he's been like this YouTube kind of Instagram personality for so long. But
Jason (06:48):
Yeah, it's a little bit surreal because I think Matt Johnson, he is the person I think of when I think of a wedding videographer. Matt Johnson has just always been that YouTube presence online, just
Danny (06:57):
A massive educator for so long, which will have a wealth of knowledge to share.
Jason (07:04):
Honestly. Such a really nice guy.
Danny (07:05):
Just lovely. So is so lovely.
Jason (07:07):
So it's going to be his first time in Scotland, which he's buzzing about. So you'll
Danny (07:11):
Be getting a power of whiskey off of you, I tell
Jason (07:13):
You a hundred percent. So we'll think of some sort of Scottish tradition because I saw when he was in Australia, he did a
Danny (07:19):
Catching a Wild.
Jason (07:20):
Yeah, he did a shoey when he was in Australia
Danny (07:23):
At workshop.
Jason (07:24):
So we're going to have to think of a Scottish tradition. If you can think of any ideas that we can put Matt through, let us know. But we're delighted to have Matt a high school kiss,
Danny (07:35):
Just bounce off the beard.
Jason (07:38):
So yeah, absolutely delighted that Matt is coming over to talk to you.
Danny (07:43):
Yeah, it's a little bit silly actually. So yeah, we have Matt, we have Greg from Greg Burnett from GB Wedding Films. Again just taking social media by storm, Greg and obviously he's been in the podcast before everybody has. But yeah, he is just going to have a wealth of knowledge to share just about Instagram and embracing Instagram and just even the destination stuff. There's just so much and I'm really excited about Greg's talk as well. Again, it's just going to be nice to meet, I know Greg wasn't at Coda, so it'll be nice to just meet him in person and just again, help everybody try and wave up their Instagram game.
Jason (08:27):
As well as that we've got Adam Wing who, if you're in the UK talk about education leaders in the uk. Adam launched his course during Covid. Danny, you took his course. A bunch of people to be spoken to have said that Adam was the inspiration behind how they've got to where they've got to. And we spoke to Adam on the podcast. It was probably one of my favourite podcasts we've recorded because I was just talking and talking to him and just found other guy so interesting and what he had to say.
Danny (08:57):
He's so lovely.
Jason (08:58):
He's so lovely. So obviously we met him at Coda as well. Much taller than I thought.
Danny (09:03):
I mean we are quite short.
Jason (09:04):
We are
Danny (09:05):
Quite
Jason (09:05):
Short. Remember that wasn't the defining feature Adam Deck. Yeah, that's true, that's true. But yeah, so Adam is coming along as well to share his knowledge on everything that has gotten to where he is. And the final speaker on stage is our good friend Joss, who's from leading Dil studio, who is the cinematographer of the year from Love Stories tv. Now, if you don't know Love Stories tv, it's like the Oscars of wedding videography. So this guy knows his cinematography and in fact, I actually watched a film that you edited this morning where he was your second shooter and I was sitting here. You shot that really well,
Danny (09:43):
Danny. Thanks Fit. Thanks. It was Jo. Was Jo under my instruction, under my supervision.
Jason (09:49):
So yeah, Joss is just good at knowing where to be when and just killing it. Music Bed ambassador, relatively new to the industry, but knowing that he's executing things so well,
Danny (10:02):
I think people will be able to relate to him as well, especially from new people coming into the industry just to be able to see the trajectory he's went on in such a short space of time, he is absolutely killing it. So that's our lineup for the speakers. Really solid lineup and yeah, I just can't really believe that we've managed to pull all those people together. On top of that, we also have our industry pros, which I am so excited for this part as well. I'm excited for the whole event, but I'm just excited for this part of it because I feel like this is, it is a different dynamic that to the event that will also provide you within insane amount of value. So we will start with Sophie. So Sophie is from Sophie, Amelia Designs. So Sophie has actually been my web designer from my website for the podcast website and for all the other businesses that I have. She's awesome and just nice, just a really, really nice person as well. But she's so good at what she does, so I'm really excited to just have her on the team, not only just to showcase what she does, but just be able to provide, I guess, tips to our attendees when it comes to branding and web design. And for instance, after meeting Sophie, you might want to use her services. Totally go for it. Because she is phenomenal at what she does.
Jason (11:41):
Yeah, I think I always what I like, she's so good at understanding your vision and making come to life. I mean the branding that she's done for our podcast, I mean right here you can see all the stuff that we've done. That was all Sophie that was behind that. And yeah, she's been great to work with and someone who's really approachable, you can ask anything. I think it's just going to be good for people who maybe think that their branding isn't necessarily speaking to who they want to speak to, talking to someone that knows who they're talking about when it comes to that, it's going to be super insightful for people. So I'm really excited for people to go up to Sophie and ask questions that they might have and give them confidence going forward before the season to go, you know what? I think I know how to speak to my ideal. I I've got bits of information now that I can utilise to go and speak to my ideal customer.
Danny (12:31):
Exactly. Yeah. So moving on to our next industry have,
Jason (12:36):
We've got John Carpenter from Carpenter Copy who is a wizard. You're a wizard Harry,
Danny (12:44):
About what You're a wizard. He is a wordsmith and a half. Again, John has done the copywriting for my website and also for the podcast, but he is just great so you can what feels like give him a bunch of incoherent information and he somehow manages to turn that into you. But in written form,
Jason (13:08):
I am genuinely shocked whenever we get something back from John after what we've given him. And then I read the copy and I go, because I think a lot of people with copy, if they want to get their voice out there, they'll type something away and read it and go, yeah, that's fine. Yeah, that that's my voice. I can read that back. But oftentimes when you're reading something yourself, you can obviously be a little bit biassed with that. When John has delivered something, he has got it spot on every single time it's funny to read, it's engaging, you
Danny (13:37):
Want to read more, you want to read more.
Jason (13:39):
So I'm always so impressed with it and it really taught me the value of having a copywriter on your team, outsourcing your copy to someone else to just nail it. And people often comment on Danny's website in Scotland in terms of being one of the best people, love your website and the team behind that were Sophie and John, the combined force doing the copy and doing the design. It was a match made in heaven. So having someone like John to come up and talk to and just read through some things,
Danny (14:16):
Even John over there, you can show him maybe parts of your website and say, how could I maybe make this sound a bit more mean? And he'll be able to maybe give you some tips and tricks. And again, you're more than welcome to speak to John about utilising him for your copywriting as well and it's something I would completely advocate for. So yeah, really excited to have John on the team. He's also really funny as well, so he'll fit in really well
Jason (14:41):
Chit. I dunno think Don knows how funny he is.
Danny (14:44):
No, I don't think he does.
Jason (14:45):
Yeah, that comes in hand in hand with being a wordsmith though, doesn't it? Knowing what to say at the right time.
Danny (14:49):
And then our final industry,
Jason (14:53):
McKayla from Get It Together, who is someone that I discovered a couple years ago when I took one of her Facebook ad courses. She was talking about running your business like a CEO and how the daunting tasks like running ads for your business can seem overwhelming, but actually it's not and this is why it's important. The way that she comes across is super insightful. She gives you confidence to do the tasks that you really should be doing and makes you understand why you're doing it. I think people are going to get so much value from visiting her stand and chatting to her. They will go away feeling confident.
Danny (15:35):
I feel like I'm going to be standing at Mikayla's stand for quite a while, to be honest,
(15:39):
Just because we've obviously had conversations of course with all the ins just in terms of what they were going to be talking about and stuff and talking to Mikayla just in the way that she just knows what she's talking about and it just makes you want to listen and I just felt like my bank card was just going closer and closer towards her to pay her for the information she was dishing out. So I'm again so excited to have Mikayla as part of the team because I genuinely, because I know for me personally, Google, I do a little bit of Google ads, but meta as I'm just not that clued up on it and it's this unknown and I want to walk away from the event feeling like, okay, do you know what? I'm actually going to try it. I'm going to go for it. And I already feel after her just chatting with Mickayla like I can want to go and do it. She's just,
Jason (16:31):
She's very inspiring,
Danny (16:32):
Very, very inspiring.
Jason (16:34):
Really good. Just yeah,
Danny (16:36):
An amazing photographer as well.
Jason (16:38):
Yeah, of course Mickayla is also a wedding photographer. We did invite one photographer in and the lineup, which is fine, we'll stay past it because she is a wizard when it comes to this sort of stuff and saying being able to tap into her knowledge is going to be super valuable for people. As Diana says, I think we're probably just going to be hanging around her stand just going, and what about this? What about that? It's going to be great to have her on board as well. So we're delighted that all of our industry pros.
Danny (17:07):
I mean I'm seeing that purely because I have used John and Sophie already for my branding and web design, so I need to get the next step, which is the meta ads. But that full team there of Sophie, John and McKayla is just a really winning combination. And do you know what? It might be that you have already got your copywriting sorted, so you don't need to worry about that, but you're a little bit interested in branding, that's fine. You're a little bit interested in Brandon web design and the Google and Met Ads. You might just want to go between those two styles. Or it might be a case of you've already got your website and you've already got branding, but you're really interested in copywriting. You don't feel like website is speaking to your ideal client or you just don't feel like it's you and you also then want to match that with your ads that go out.
(18:00):
It might be John and McKayla that you want to go and speak to. It totally depends on what part of your business you feel like you want to, let's say Upskill and that's totally fine, but I feel like equally these are all fundamental parts of our wedding videographer businesses that not everybody feels like they're a hundred percent on because I still don't own, even when it comes to the branding website, I know that John and Truvia have done an amazing job, but also time passes and I might want to go and relook at that, look at it again to go, right, okay, I've changed a little bit and my ideal client has changed. Let's maybe go about for instance, like a rebrand or something like that. So
Jason (18:44):
Obviously having speakers inside and having stations to go to, you might be thinking like, how on earth am I going to have time to talk to all these people? Well, we're going to tell you a little bit of how the day is going to run, but first of all, we are absolutely delighted to announce that that wouldn't Video of podcast has a sponsor
Danny (18:59):
Proudly sponsored by Vid Flow. So I have been using Vid Flow pretty much exclusively now for, I dunno, I've used it since I've started, but exclusively been using it now probably for the last year and a half. And in my opinion, there's just not a better way to deliver your wedding films such a sleek interface for not only just for you to upload your films, but also for couples. They can download the Vid Flow app to their smart TV and smartphone and play their films on the big screen. No wires, no connecting HDMI cables to a laptop sitting on a stool waiting for someone to kick it over and your laptop's gone. They can just download the Vid Flow app and watch their films on the big screen as intended. And like I said, in my opinion, it's the best way to deliver your wedding calls.
Jason (19:49):
Sometimes it can seem a little bit impersonal having a YouTube link or a Vimeo link to send to. I mean I know a lot of people do that, but having your brand, having the couples pictures and videos essentially as the menu option, it's such a more immersive experience for them. It's their film, this is their product, this is their personal page where they can go in and share that with any of the family. Often people have family travel from all over and you can send the link to the Vid Flow page to people who've visited from Australia from America. They're going to have that full experience so they don't have to pass around to USB. Yeah, I've always been impressed with the layout of how Vid Flow works. So we are delighted that Vid Flow are now sponsoring that wouldn't video a podcast and from now on you'll see a nice and we'll obviously,
Danny (20:43):
So starting from next week there will be a little mid roll ad on Vid Flow as they are our sponsor, not only for the summit, but also for the podcast. But for Jason and I, we were very passionate about only partnering with companies that we actually use and love Vid Flow is one of those companies because if it wasn't for Vid Flow, then I don't really know what else I would use to be honest, and I don't really want to go back to using USBs. So yeah, thank you so much Vid Flow for sponsoring the podcast and the event and looking forward to mutually beneficial partnership.
Jason (21:25):
Yeah, thanks for joining the team as well as obviously sponsoring the podcast. They're going to be offering up some goodies for you in the future as well as a listeners, so stay tuned for that. We'll have much more to share as the episodes come out
Danny (21:38):
And maybe a prize at the summit. So the format of the day, the summit is going to be held on April 1st.
Jason (21:48):
No April Fools folks.
Danny (21:49):
No April Fools. We promise you it's It's a genuine summit, it's a genuine event. It's happening in Glasgow. It's St. Luke's in the Wing
Jason (21:57):
Docks. So St. Luke's is based in the area of Glasgow called the Baras, which is a really cool area. There's loads of little diners, loads of little restaurants, cafes and stuff like that. So there's lots of stuff to do around there. So plenty of places to eat during lunch and dinner and stuff like that. But yeah, a really cool area of Glasgow,
Danny (22:16):
Iconic area of Glasgow,
Jason (22:17):
Very musically oriented. And so Luke's itself is actually, it won the best music venue a couple of years ago. It
Danny (22:23):
Was really well ago now. I think it was like 2017. But yeah, won the best music venue in Scotland. So it's an old converted church, hence the name. And yeah, it's great. I mean it's constantly booked out for gigs and stuff. It's just a really, really good space to house everything I guess that we are trying to go for with the event as well.
Jason (22:42):
And they also host weddings as well, so they know what they talk about when it comes to weddings too.
Danny (22:48):
And the actual event itself will start at nine. People will be welcome to come from around eight 30. We are going to have breakfast rolls on for everyone attending, so come get a bacon and T Scon get it, A bacon and T scon roll. For those of you who don't know what a scon is, it's, it's a potato scon. It's the best part about a breakfast in Scotland. So don't listen to Jason. He'll say hash browns. Anyway,
Jason (23:19):
If not for the summit, come for the T go
Danny (23:21):
Exactly, come and get a breakfast. So on us and some tea coffee in the morning, have a bit of a chinwag with all our fellow videographers and attendance, and then the actual event will start at 9:00 AM Then from there we will have our educational talks from two of the speakers. We'll then take a short break for you to then go mosey our industry pros to have a little chat with them. We'll stop for lunch at some point. As Jason said, there's loads of little IES about, there's a Morrisons there if you just want to get a sandwich, just literally maybe a two minute walk down the road. And we actually probably should say as well, there's not a massive amount of parking as such at the venue, but there is on street parking around about the area. So if you are driving to the event, if you're looking to get a hotel, we are going to send all these details out. Once people buy tickets, we'll send all these details out in an email. But yeah, there's loads of places that you can get like a hotel on again, because it's going to be on a Tuesday,
Jason (24:30):
So there's plenty of places to stay in Glasgow. There's hotels popping up all over the place. So you are covered for that and it's really easy to get to. It's like a five, 10 minute walk from the city centre. So you are in good hands with that.
Danny (24:41):
Then obviously after lunch has finished, we will have some more time with our other two speakers who will be delivering their talks. And then again, for the rest of the time, you can go and do a mix of moseying about the vendor, the industry pro stalls and network with your Phil videographers.
Jason (25:01):
Yeah. So don't feel like you're going to be sitting having to listen all day. There's going to be times where you're going to be getting some awesome information from our speakers, have a break, talk to our industry pros, network away. It's going to be a real mix up of the day, but no doubt at all points of the day, you're going to get some value from either your peers or an industry pro or one of our epic speakers.
Danny (25:23):
One thing that we didn't mention as well though, is we do have photographers on site as well. So they're going to be getting photos just of, we'll have photographers on site getting photos of the event and everybody in attendance. So it means that you'll be able to get maybe that profile picture updated with a nice shot of you at an event. So make sure that you're dressed well and you get a haircut.
Jason (25:43):
Yeah, it's something that not a lot of us actually prioritises getting regular headshots because one thing that we definitely find important is that your Instagram feed has a photo of you something to represent who you are. If you're hiring a service, you want to know who it is you're hiring. So having a high quality headshot is super important. So we're going to have two studio bays where you can rock up and get an updated headshot of yourself, which is going to be cool to take away from the show. So yeah, another opportunity during in between talks, go and get yourself a headshot and then they will be available for you if you're an attendee.
Danny (26:21):
Then the fun bit,
Jason (26:24):
Because the rest of the day was dire,
Danny (26:26):
So boy, obviously not. But the really fun bit is, so we will stop for dinner for a couple of hours. Again, we're all about networking, get some beers, some wine and some nice foods. Does really, really good food.
Jason (26:40):
Some does really good food. Really,
Danny (26:41):
Really good food
Jason (26:41):
Ahead in advance.
Danny (26:42):
Yes, yes, really, really good fit. Then we will be getting a live set from the DJ that we have booked. Shackle AB you. So shackle ab you, they play at Glastonbury every year, didn't
Jason (26:56):
They? Yeah, so for the last two, they didn't actually play at Glastonbury this year because Jamie, who is one half of Shackle, loves you, got married during Glasbury weekend. So he was invited, but he couldn't actually go. I filmed his wedding and he couldn't go, but he had played the two years prior and should be a regular as long as his wife doesn't mind that he's playing Glasbury his anniversary. But no shackle loves you. Awesome. So a funk dj, it's a funk and soul DJ drum combo. It's going to be awesome. We were delighted when he said he was available to play because he's going to be, the tunes are going to be playing are going to be great enough for you to just have a little biggie, biggie, but also get some good chatting going along as well because we know we're going to want to talk about everything we spoke about that day. We know you're going to want to catch a beer with Matt and Adam and Joce and everyone else, and it's going to be an epic night and I'm absolutely blessed for that. And of course can be a drink or two on us. So we
Danny (28:00):
Covered as part of your ticket, we have a couple of drinks, tokens for everybody in attendance. So yeah, have a couple of drinks on us as part of your ticket and yeah, that's pretty much it. That'll be on until about 11:00 PM
Jason (28:17):
Whatever happens after that is up to you. It is not on us. We are responsible for you until 11:00 PM
Danny (28:25):
After that you're on your merry way,
Jason (28:27):
But I mean, if you're hanging around plenty of places, just hit us up will.
Danny (28:31):
Sorry, yeah, we can show you with some places you
Jason (28:33):
We'll be
Danny (28:33):
Dead, but I'll be showered. I'll be ready for my bed. So yeah, so that is pretty much like a round of the day on the days where we are going to have a bunch of really cool prize as
Jason (28:46):
Well. Oh yeah, the prices are going to be so cool. We've got a few really big tech items to give away for you folks. It's going to be awesome. We're obviously not revealing that just now, but we're lining up a good stuff. So a few lucky people in the audience are going to walk away with some
Danny (29:03):
More than a few, maybe
Jason (29:04):
Some decent stuff,
Danny (29:05):
More than a few.
Jason (29:05):
So there's lots still to reveal. Early days, exciting. Obviously the tickets haven't even launched yet, they're launching tomorrow. So there will be much more to talk about in the months to come, but we are super excited and yeah, we just really hope you have a great time because this is an event that we would love to attend. We're glad we're going to attend. I I'm buzzing. I'm absolutely buzzing. It's coming together.
Danny (29:29):
So excited, so excited. And we're that excited about it that we've already got to work on planning our 2026 event as well.
Jason (29:38):
Yeah, some people picked up for that. So
Danny (29:40):
If there is someone in particular that you would like to see at one of our events to learn from, please let us know and we'll be more than happy to reach out to maybe some of the ones that we see a common theme of people that they want to hear from. But we are working on our 2026 lineup at present and we may just come calling at you to come and join us and hopefully have you on the team.
Jason (30:06):
I think we're super excited to just discover new people because
Danny (30:10):
Oh, I love that
Jason (30:11):
When someone comes out of the woodwork and we're like, wow, the work is so cool. I just love it. And there's new people coming on the market every single week, every new month I see new content getting released and it's great. So as we continue this podcast, as we continue to do these summits, I really hope that we get to see the absolute best that the industry has to offer. And I'm just excited to learn from people. So
Danny (30:36):
As am I, as am I, and again, just continuing to just bring everybody together and just help push the industry forward a little bit more.
Jason (30:46):
So lastly Danny, we do need to talk about the elephant in the room, the question that everyone wants to know. What's does got to me?
Danny (30:55):
Great question. As a recap, what you're getting for your ticket, four incredible speakers, three industry pros covering things such as branding and web design, copywriting and Google and meta ads. We've got a DJ playing in the evening, two drinks, tokens so that you can get wicked up and one hill of a party in the evening.
Jason (31:18):
Also, you're going to walk away with some head shots too, and a great chance to network with all of the amazing videographers thrown throughout the UK who are going to come right in front of parties. So it's going to be a great day.
Danny (31:30):
It is. And on top of that, we've got some awesome prizes up for grabs as well, which we will reveal at a later date. So we have tried to pack in as much value into the ticket price as possible because like we said, we want you to walk away from this event being empowered and also just to have actionable takeaways that you can implement into your business. And on top of that, get some grub, get some tea and coffee, and get some drinks in the evening for a cracking after party. So our tickets will be going on sale at a pre-sale early bird discount of 245 pounds. There'll be a limited amount of tickets available, so grab them while you can, because I would imagine they're going to sell out fast based on the numbers that we have already in our marketing pool that I've signed up to the marketing wait list.
Jason (32:19):
And for those limited tickets, you go find out when they go on sale if you join our mailing list. So if you're not on there already, make sure you do so
Danny (32:25):
You won't find out otherwise.
Jason (32:27):
And then of course our sale of the tickets goes live on Friday and you can get up a ticket for 2 9 5. So loads of value, awesome day. I can't believe the access we've got to the people who are attending and also a great chance to network to your peers plus that epic part that we're going to have at the end of the night.
Danny (32:47):
Yeah, I can't wait for that. That'll be so good because Shaka loves you.
Jason (32:51):
Shaka loves you.
Danny (32:55):
Also in the run up to the event, we are going to be launching some short form podcasts on a separate day. So we're going to launch those on a Monday just so that we can keep you up to date with what's happening. We'll introduce you to some of our speakers and our industry pros, as well as talking about some of our sponsors and basically some of the stuff that we have got planned in a little bit more detail. So keep an eye out for those. Like I said, they will be out with the normal schedule. So you will have the an and deck of Wedding videographers on a Monday and on a Thursday
Jason (33:26):
An and Deck will wish they had our chemistry.
Danny (33:31):
Oh, it's so funny. That comment
Jason (33:34):
Awesome is so if you've got any questions, feel free to DM us. We'll be happy to answer anything. But yes, tickets go sale on Friday, but make sure you join the mail list for any information about those presale tickets as there is a limited number and they are going to go.
Danny (33:47):
They're going to go.
Jason (33:48):
So we hope you've enjoyed this podcast of that wedding video or podcast. I've been Jace.
Danny (33:53):
I've been Danny,
Jason (33:54):
And we'll see you in April.
Danny (33:55):
See you in April. But we'll see you next week.
Jason (33:58):
Well
Danny (33:58):
Yeah.
