This is the episode where I get to share something close to my heart—my first invention. It’s called Luminote, and it started as a way to fix a tiny ache in texting: when someone writes “OK,” and you don’t know what they mean.

In this conversation, Ryan and I talk through the problem, the emotional gaps in digital communication, and then slowly sketch out a new kind of app—one that carries not just text, but texture. We explore voice hesitation, metadata, consent, context collapse, and the possibility of digital intimacy that feels felt. There’s dreaming here, but also design. This one means a lot to me.
