Episode description

In this episode, Tanya and Sean discuss the challenges their seven year old daughter faces after being diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD).  Seven percent of children have some form of APD. This episode may help you determine if your child might have APD and/or provide ideas for accommodations that may help your child if they are already diagnosed. How is it different parenting a child with APD? When your child has a challenge, it is not just challenging for them, but for you as parents as well. Listen as we discuss just some of those challenges and how we are working through them.
