Episode 1 Summary:

Alex feels tormented that the town hasn't forgiven him for leaving Dina at the altar 2 years ago. He still cares for Dina and is thrilled when she returns, hoping for a reunion. But Dina remains hurt, rejecting his flowers and telling him off.

Alex realizes he must grow up and truly commit before pursuing her again. His sister reveals Dina was hospitalized over their breakup and warns Alex to back off. Though absent from her welcome home dinner, Alex longs to reconnect, while a distraught Dina hopes he'll be there.
