Show sumnary: The Apartment is a story about the evolving relationship between Jenna Lopez and Corey Roberts, two neighbors living in the same apartment building. It begins antagonistically when Jenna, the tenant's representative, demands money from new tenant Corey for a charity program. After pranking each other, their rivalry soon turns to friendship and beyond.

As they get closer, their meddling in each other's lives leads to conflicts and misunderstandings fueled by jealousy and lack of communication. Corey cuts ties after hearing another man in Jenna's apartment but she persists in pursuing him. Just when it seems they will become a couple, the reemergence of Jenna's ex Stewart makes Corey doubt her faithfulness.

After a big argument, Corey tries winning Jenna back with dramatic romantic gestures. She resists giving into her feelings out of fear of getting hurt again. When a truth about her past comes out, Corey has to decide if he can accept it. In the end, he realizes nothing should stand between them. They declare their love and commit to a future together, overcoming the obstacles that threatened their relationship.

Overall the series charts how a contentious first encounter leads to an unlikely but powerful connection between two very different people. Despite the ups and downs, Jenna and Corey recognize their bond and refuse to give up on a chance at love and happiness together.
