This episode we’re covering S1E2: ‘The Spider Slayer’.

There’s a lot to cover here, from the Smythe family’s unhealthy obsession with spiders to the Osborn family’s baffling and frankly medically worrying haircuts.

Henry and Jack talk about the second episode of the series, before looking into the origins of the many introductions here – namely Spencer Smythe in The Amazing Spider-Man #25.

As for our weird lore, Jack takes Henry to ‘Kangaroo Country’ to jump slightly higher than usual. That’s right, we’re talking about one of the strangest members of Spider-Man’s rogues gallery, and his first appearance in the uniquely depressing and goofy TASM #81.
