He is Principal Investigator of the National Hypertension Control Initiative and Clinical Lead on KnowDiabetesByHeart, a joint initiative with the American Diabetes Association. One of TLC's priorities is to help reverse the epidemic of Type II Diabetes in the Hispanic community.
