Texas farmers were in New Orleans last week for the Commodity Classic. A lot of Texas High Plains corn farmers have been making the switch from grain to silage in recent year. The ongoing drought is worsening across the state and extending into East Texas. Farmers in the Coastal Bend have hit pause on cotton planting.
