Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Listen to God’s Word. Colossians 3:17 is a very, very special word from God to you and to me. Listen: “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
That does not eliminate anything. That’s all-inclusive of every action, of every day, of every week, of every month, of every year of your life. “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” The thankfulness from our hearts is to be expressed to God as a requirement. It makes us all that we’re supposed to be in God’s sight when we actually personify this message on a day-to-day basis, without exception. This doesn’t say most things. It says “whatever you do.” And so make sure that you’re not doing anything, or going anyplace, or saying anything that displeases the Lord. If you have committed things that are displeasing to Him, ask for forgiveness. And if you have offended someone, ask them to forgive you. And know, God will answer your prayer, and He will right wrongs through you.
