Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
God’s Word gives us specific, explicit instructions. When we have messed up, when we have done something that displeases God and have hurt someone else, we need to go to that person asking forgiveness. Listen to the Word of God, Colossians 3:13 NKJV: “Bearing with one another and forgiving one another; if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.”
This is God’s requirement of every believer. That we are to have everything together with God. That we are to ask Him to give us the guidance and the direction and the help that only He can provide. Then we need to reach out to the people that we may have offended, or who may have offended us. And we need to go with a forgiving spirit, with tremendous kindness. Remember what God’s Word says: “Bearing with one another and forgiving one another; if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” That “must” is an imperative. That means there is no avoidance of doing what God requires done by you and by me as believers in Christ. In every circumstance, Jesus is first. Today, tomorrow, and forever. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
