Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus is talking to His disciples. John 16:23 NKJV says: “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.”
That’s why we are to pray in Jesus’ name. Jesus taught the disciples and they in turn have told us. As John wrote his gospel, so that we could read the words that he had written, then we can pray in Jesus’ name also. God wants us to know that sometimes we neglect to share our heart with Jesus. But we can. The Father will provide whatever we need. God’s Word is wonderful. The promises are tremendous. And they are again and again presented in the Word of God. So let’s reiterate this: “In that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.” That’s a promise that Jesus made. You and I can rely on it; and we can abide by it. So put it into effect in your life. Pray in Jesus’ name, with thanks. Make certain that you are showing appreciation for what God has already done, what He’s doing, and what He’s about to do, in Jesus’ name.
