BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
“The hard-working farmer must be first to partake of the crops.” 2 Timothy 2:6 NKJV
That’s a wise, wise statement. And no one wants the farmer to starve. The farmer has done the work. The farmer has been the laborer in the harvest field. But God expects each of us to participate, to whatever degree we can, doing what He wants us to do. Then we can partake of the crops, after the farmer. Are you willing to share your faith in Christ? You’re going to have the privilege of having fellowship with God for eternity, if you have admitted you are a sinner; if you have turned to Christ from your sins; if you have believed on Him with all of your heart. God wants you to partake of the crops. The crops are from God to you, to sustain you, to help you, to enable you to keep going to people who need the Lord, and who could become followers of Christ, if someone like you or me tells them how. Let everyone you know understand it is necessary to believe on the Lord Jesus. Yes, sharing God’s great news can be hard work. But when someone says yes to God’s love, it is really worth every effort. No matter how difficult it is, no matter how hard it looks to you, God will give you the strength, the energy, and the fortitude to go with the Gospel.
