Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
As Jesus was finishing His time on earth with His disciples, His apostles, He concluded John 16 verse 7 saying: “For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you.” Jesus is talking about the promise of the coming of the Holy Spirit to indwell every believer in Christ. He will be with you, and He will comfort you, and He will guide you, and He will direct you. But you have to allow Him to invade you. The Bible says: “What, know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit?” This was the promise that Jesus was giving, that the Holy Spirit was going to come after the death, the burial, and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, God’s only begotten Son. And it happened. And now the Holy Spirit is indwelling people worldwide who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you one of those believers? If you are not, you can be. Say: “God, I’ve sinned, I’m sorry.” Turn to Jesus from your sins, and believe on Him, receiving from Him the gift of God eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. And then let people know.
