Re-read 2 Peter chapter 1. And look at verse 9: “For he who lacks these things is shortsighted even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.”
It’s so easy to forget what God has done for you. To not remember the fact that Christ Jesus was born of a virgin, and that He lived perfectly. Even though He was tempted again and again, He never yielded. And then Christ died for your sins, my sins, the sins of everyone. And He was buried.
