BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
God’s Word tells us how to live successfully for Him. Listen to 2 Peter 1:7 NKJV: “Add to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.”
Here we have again three things to consider. Pray about being godly. Be as much like Jesus as you can be. Read the Word of God and heed the Word of God. And let God guide you and direct you and give you blessing after blessing when you are willing to serve Him the way that He would be pleased for you to do. And then you need to have brotherly kindness. Kind people are really needed in our world today. There is so much unkindness. An unkind look, an unkind gesture, an unkind word can devastate. So if you’re going to be godly, then you need to have brotherly kindness. Reach out to people who need to know God loves them. That’s the last thing. Love. God is love. And God wants us to love Him and to love others because we love Him – so much so that we will tell others how to get to Heaven by believing and receiving God’s gift of eternal life. There’s somebody out there waiting for you to tell them how to get to heaven. Pray, and then go with the Gospel, and watch God work wonderfully through you, and for others.
