Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
One of the wonderful promises in God’s Word is 1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV. Listen: “Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
What a wonderful thing God is saying to you and to me. When we work for the Lord, when we take the Gospel to people who don’t know Him but who could if they would listen to the plan of salvation when someone like you or me presents God’s ABCs to them, wonderful things happen. So if you are one of the brethren, if indeed you have admitted you’ve sinned; if you’ve turned to Jesus from your sins; if you have believed on Him; if you’ve confessed Him publicly; then you are challenged to be steadfast, to be immovable, to be always abounding in the work of the Lord. And when this happens, here’s the promise: your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Isn’t that tremendous? That’s the promise from God to you, from His Word. So go with the Gospel. And tell people how to get to Heaven. You can if you will. Someone out there is waiting for you to be the catalyst, the communicator of Christianity.
