BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
1 Corinthians 15:2 NKJV: “by which also you are saved, if you hold fast to that word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.”
Paul is sharing his heart with the Corinthian Christians. Hopefully you, too, have been saved because you have believed – not in vain, but purposefully you have heard and you have received God’s gift of eternal life. That’s what it’s all about. That’s why Paul is writing to the church at Corinth – person by person, individual by individual, are hearing. And why you and I also, wherever we are, whoever we are, can hear and be saved, because we are believing, not in vain, but purposefully, the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you haven’t, you can. Know that God loves you. Christ died for you, He was buried, and He rose again the third day. And He’s coming back. So share your faith in Him with people everywhere, people for whom you are personally concerned. Who’s out there? Who are you praying for and about, and maybe with? God can use you if you are willing.
