Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
1 Peter 1:9 NKJV says: “Receiving the end of your faith: the salvation of your souls.”
That’s the ultimate. That’s the greatest achievement anyone can have happen in his or her life – to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ lets you have His salvation – the salvation of your souls. What a wonderful thing it is to know that God cares so much for you. So much for you and me that He has provided a way of escape, the way of eternal life. The way of salvation. The end of your faith: that’s what’s going to happen someday in eternity. And when God is ready for you, be ready for Him. Understand that He sent His Son – born of a virgin; never yielded to temptation; and then Jesus died. He died for your sins. He died for my sins. He died for the sins of the whole wide world. He was buried. He rose again. Salvation is yours when you believe on the Lord Jesus, when you receive from Him the gift of God eternal life.
