Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Peter was blessed by God to communicate with people, even you and me. Listen to 1 Peter 1:3 NKJV: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” Jesus is alive and well. He lived perfectly, He died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again. And Peter is talking about this resurrection. Peter was there. He knew what happened. He was a part of Jesus’ very special inner circle. And then he was able to tell the story. Listen again to what God’s Word says: “the Father … according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” That means you and I, if we are believers in Christ, we have a relationship with God through Him - through Jesus, through His shed blood on the cross of Calvary. Keep that in mind and be willing and ready share your faith every time you possibly can. It’s a privilege. It’s an honor.
