Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
“But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.” John 17:13 NKJV
What a great thing it is that Jesus is saying. You and I can have joy. It can be fulfilled in us because of our trust in Jesus. Because we have turned to Him from our sins. We have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. And we have told other people about Him. Now Jesus is saying to His Father, “I’m coming back. I’m coming back to heaven. And these things which I speak in the world, I do it because I want them to have joy.” There’s joy in serving Jesus. There’s joy in following God’s will for your life. J.O.Y. – Jesus first, others second, yourself last … but don’t leave yourself out. You are important. God wants you to have joy fulfilled in yourself, when you trust Him, when you serve Him, when you share your faith in Him with people for whom you are concerned. God will bless you and He will make you a blessing, and He will give you joy unspeakable and full of glory, for Him and to Him. It’s available. Jesus’ joy can be yours.
