Cats and Their Senses!

Nafisha, Irene, Ryan S., Rashel, Ahnaf, Zakaria of Class 2-210 discuss how the five senses affect cats. Children were given a graphic organizer to jot down how various items affected their own senses. Afterwards, children were formed into Teams where they put all their ideas together, developed a script, rehearsed and recorded their podcast. The Life of Dolores Huerta - Class 3-203

Class 3-203 researched and wrote a play about the life of Delores Huerta, an activist who fought for the rights of migrant farm workers. Together with Cesar Chavez, they won the battle of discrimination, unfair housing, and especially rights of migrant children to receive an education. Ms. D'Angelo's class deserves a big round of applause for this wonderful podcast!

Children were given a graphic organizers where they could gather their thoughts on various items Students were then assigned to Teams where they infused their notes into one script. The script was then worked down to a 3.5 minutes script. This is very cute!
