Hi, I'm Jonathan Strickland, and this is Tech Stuff Daily. On this show, we'll take a look at the stories behind some of the latest tech headlines to learn why they're so important. We're not out to cover the news, there are tons of other shows that do that already. Instead, we'll dive into what makes those stories interesting. On Tech Stuff Daily, we're going to learn about topics ranging from

the highly technical to the historical. It's my belief that you can't really understand or appreciate any particular news story without getting some context first. On Tech Stuff Daily we seek out that context. So while we won't break any stories on this show, we will look further into them to understand what exactly is going on. Here are some topics you can expect to hear on early episodes cryptocurrency like bitcoin, including what makes it special, how does bitcoin work?

And is it really a currency like dollars or euros. Another episode will look elon Musk's statement that the Boring company, which operates enormous tunneling machines, received a verbal agreement from White House representatives to build a tunnel system between Washington, d C. And New York City. Is such a thing

practical and how would it work. We'll also look at stories about Apple's support of augmented reality technology, the failure of Equifax to create a reliable tool for people to check if they are victims of an information hack, and what Uber is doing after receiving a cold shoulder from the City of London. In these and future tech stuff daily episodes will learn interesting facts about the companies, people,

and events that populate the tech headlines. You can listen to us on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast, and subscribe to never miss an episode. Thanks for checking us out. I look forward to diving into the news with you really soon eight
