Technology Evolutions and Revolutions - Look to the past to predict the future

I’ve been an IT Professional for over 40 years now. As I look back over my career and all the changes that have occurred in the field of information technology, I can tell you it’s been a wild ride. But, the sum of those experiences now gives me a unique perspective on how technology has evolved and more importantly the future directions technology will take, and how our consumption of future technologies may impact our lives and shape our future. Will we consume more and more technology or will those same technologies consume us?
