Scout Motors, the stand-alone automaker associated with the Volkswagen Group, has broke ground in rural South Carolina on a mission. The mission is to revive an American legacy and bring manufacturing back to US soil. Those of you that are of a certain age may remember the International Scout SUV, built in Fort Wayne, Indiana by International Harvester from 1960 to 1980 - yeah, THAT Scout.
