In the financial services industry, we often disclose that when it comes to investing, past performance is not indicative of future results.  When it comes to investing in innovation, not only is this true but can provide a strategic advantage because you are investing in what CAN happen, not what HAS happened. In today’s podcast we explore the innovation premium that companies can offer by expanding their intellectual capital and investing in research and development. We talk about companies that have failed to innovate in the past, and the high price they paid for the lack of innovation, and what companies and industries are ripe for disruption in the future.
