"RMF Academy: Real-World Cybersecurity"

[SPEAKER_00]: You can, like, before you would hire people to look at, like, Excel documents and buy an inside. [SPEAKER_00]: You can really upload a 20,000 row of 80 columns Excel into chat, GBT, and find the most important insights out of this, you know, on demand.

[SPEAKER_00]: this is this is gold if you're not you if this is the best time like you need to be people outside like party work like you need to be this is the best time to get rich it might be the only chance this might be the last chance to actually generate true well let me be the last chance man yeah good majority so I think I think it's going to I think in the future

[SPEAKER_00]: In quote me on this, five, 10 years, gonna have a world where you can work four hours a day, four hours a week. [SPEAKER_00]: If you want to, otherwise you're just gonna get money, you know, you get $1,000 a month, $8,000 a month. [SPEAKER_00]: You do what you want. [SPEAKER_00]: And you get to find out what it means to be human outside of work. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, can you probably have a security class and maybe even a security clearance?

[SPEAKER_01]: And nobody taught you how to write poems. [SPEAKER_01]: Or how to test a security control? [SPEAKER_01]: Or submit a ATO package. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm Chris Arkpala, a few years ago, I was in your shoes, all the five on paper, but completely lost when it came to army. [SPEAKER_01]: I had to degree, I had to serve, so I had to drive, when somebody said, how to test an AT2 control, or got a date stick by this. [SPEAKER_01]: I had no clue what that actually looked like.

[SPEAKER_01]: Fast 4 or 5 years, I worked across DOD and federal agencies, led control assessments, RINATIL, Kaiage, and Pass Autists. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I built our NAF Academy to teach you the real world execution. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't cover in certification books. [SPEAKER_01]: Inside, I'll show you how to write a poem. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't get bad as back. [SPEAKER_01]: Test and die of the security controls.

[SPEAKER_01]: Try and select TechJard and navigate this 853 and horror mouthful confidence. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're in IT support in the Garamis systems or stuck on edge of the top security, this is your way. [SPEAKER_01]: The people who go through my training don't just be a hire, they hit the brow running because they practice the work before they win. [SPEAKER_01]: Go to horroramaphacademy.io and let's get the work. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome everybody to another edition of the TechBook Podcast.

[SPEAKER_01]: I am your host, Chris, the Cyber Security Specialist and it's a Govotex space. [SPEAKER_01]: And in today's podcast, we're going to have a great podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: With somebody I would call a mentor, somebody I would call a friend. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be diving into AI. [SPEAKER_01]: what you can use it to help grow your business, how to make money. [SPEAKER_01]: The person that we're going to talk to has been on the podcast before.

[SPEAKER_01]: His name is Jeffrey Scruggs. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it really don't need an introduction, but he's a person that's been in the AI space. [SPEAKER_01]: He's self-taught AI engineer. [SPEAKER_01]: He has created many, many businesses with AI. [SPEAKER_01]: He has his own business where he builds AI products for other people. [SPEAKER_01]: He has the HBCU summit.

[SPEAKER_01]: He has so many businesses that has going on and without further ado, [SPEAKER_00]: Joe well Chris good to be that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's great to be back.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know over this time when we first met We just kind of like didn't know each other and in recent we over time we just been building a relationship We've been partnering on on on on different businesses and different things our relationship has grown over time [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, again, I've learned a lot from just watching you watching what you do in this space. [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, this is a privilege, any time you we want to do this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're always walking on the park. [SPEAKER_01]: So, thank you for coming back to you. [SPEAKER_01]: We can make it a yearly thing. [SPEAKER_01]: If we're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I'm Jeff, we have been watching you over this time and like you've been killing it, man. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I get inspired by your husband still with the podcast every single, and I'm like, oh, you got this, this, this is a bigger, bigger, bigger.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I appreciate you coming out to, you know, the Emerald United Methodist walk that we had, the safe house. [SPEAKER_00]: I love what you did with your video crew. [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, still running does always something to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we're at like, [SPEAKER_00]: the most fun time in our lives, you know, I think 30s you can do everything you want to do in your 20s, but now you have like the energy money and like intelligence to actually pull these things off. [SPEAKER_00]: So now's the time to do it. [SPEAKER_01]: And like you said, it's fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Like now it's like, I remember my 20s, I was starting grinding. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Now it's like we can go on vacation now.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, like, you know, a lot of these conferences, we can just go and meet people that we, you know, build relationships or hold our own conferences [SPEAKER_01]: or build our own community. [SPEAKER_01]: That happened to one cell. [SPEAKER_00]: We had our own University of community, you got the ecosystem, like, yeah, the whole D&D with height, the whole tech community.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it moves definitely, man, Jeffrey, and we growing, and over time, and like, you know, AI's a big thing. [SPEAKER_00]: It is, it's, it's, it's, it's every, almost every month there's a new breakthrough, you know.

AI Revolution Across Industries

[SPEAKER_00]: I think last year we talked about what it was and the landscape has changed so much in the last year before I was actually building known that what some we talked a bit about that. [SPEAKER_00]: But now we're at the point where you're just using AI to enhance whatever you're doing, and it can, [SPEAKER_00]: It crosses so many sectors for tech, to media, to law, to business. [SPEAKER_00]: You can use AI in all these things.

[SPEAKER_01]: You even went to, you use AI to enhance yourself. [SPEAKER_01]: You're building, man, you build apps that would take years to build. [SPEAKER_01]: And you've been with you build like five apps a week. [SPEAKER_00]: I can build a website or app in like a week, pretty much. [SPEAKER_00]: That's part of my business plan is I can get something out of the week.

[SPEAKER_01]: and talking to you build websites rather people you build a website to kind of like track data yep yep can get analytics of how long they've been on how many visitors with visitors are coming from or they come into Facebook or they come in through a link wherever you know you can get all those analytics through your website and so so we're just gonna go straight into and so like first off to the audience you know just you know you don't have to be technical

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, AI is, I like to say, AI is intelligence on demand, literally, literally, it's intelligence on demand. [SPEAKER_00]: So you can essentially, it's so many ways to describe it, or how many uses it can be, so, it can mimic human intelligence, you know, and the way it's used today is, let's say, you have your own assistant, and you can tell to do whatever you want to do. [SPEAKER_00]: as a manager or PM. [SPEAKER_00]: You tell your employees what to do and they do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the sense. [SPEAKER_00]: We're now all managers in PM's now. [SPEAKER_00]: And we tell our intelligent agents to do what to do and they do it just like that. [SPEAKER_01]: So, so, so we're at a point where it's like AI is kind of like an agent. [SPEAKER_01]: You can use it to work for you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's for a very cheap prior $20 a month. [SPEAKER_01]: For chatty, P2, yes, pretty good deal. [SPEAKER_00]: And most 200, right?

"AI Revolution in Search Tools"

[SPEAKER_00]: At the most 200, if you want to use like the agentic AI, which has a code and such like that, which I got in $200 planned, but obviously I'm in the field, so I should have it. [SPEAKER_00]: But like, yeah, it is really, really nice and powerful.

[SPEAKER_00]: search the web, you know, even Google, they had to get on the track, you know, and you have to, whenever you do a search, now like you get, get an AI response as well, people want scrolling through and finding web pages like going to the eighth web page, you know, anymore. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's just end.top3, you know, if they have a question, before you would Google with it, now you have a question. [SPEAKER_00]: and then you got your answer for AI, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you tried to get me to you, then. [SPEAKER_01]: That's your BT now, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So we don't go straight into it, like, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So now we establish it, it's on demand intelligence. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You're AI engineer. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so originally, I mean, you always been doing AI, but you're a software engineer in general.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: When you were, as you were originally, you had to just code on demand. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you just had to write the code. [SPEAKER_01]: I had to write the code, peace line by line. [SPEAKER_00]: So, she's by peace. [SPEAKER_01]: How can we use AI to scale? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it's quite a few things. [SPEAKER_00]: One is, like I said, AI can be used in multiple areas from business, law, media, tech, and so forth.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the scale for instance, let's say you have your business stuff like that. [SPEAKER_00]: So you want to get a little bit bigger. [SPEAKER_00]: So you want more of an audience. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you know you can use AI for your content. [SPEAKER_00]: So whenever we're talking, we have AI subtitles. [SPEAKER_00]: Before you actually had a manually write those subtitles, AI will literally just listen to your audio and extrapolate the words and put it in your video.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just like that. [SPEAKER_00]: You can use to help you write press releases. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you know, we have our captions to supply that, you know, you know, you know how we move. [SPEAKER_00]: So. [SPEAKER_00]: You can have it right, press releases, and stuff like, get it to the media and profit format. [SPEAKER_00]: You also can use it for tech. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I can literally build, I can build a website in a few prompts.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you still have to understand how to connect everything. [SPEAKER_00]: That's software engineering knowledge is still very useful. [SPEAKER_00]: Just like any area from politics, to government, to stuff to media, whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: You still have to know that knowledge. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you know that knowledge, you can use AI to take it to the next level. [SPEAKER_01]: So, so break that down. [SPEAKER_01]: How would they, break it on like a software engineering?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, give me some, what are some use cases you would use AI to create asterisks? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, what absolutely you're using to to rank, is it right in the code?

AI Simplifies Unity Camera Control

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes, yes. [SPEAKER_00]: So before, and it's grown exponentially, before you would like. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's say I had a Unity 3D simulation, right? [SPEAKER_00]: You could use AI to control the cameras before you had to actually do the math and make sure I was doing, moving out of certain speeds, stuff like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I want to, I have my object in the sense of the simulation and I want, you would have to literally go line by line right to code to have it do a 360 spin around it, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Now you can be like, hey, AI, write this script and do it. [SPEAKER_00]: Have the camera do it 360 speed. [SPEAKER_00]: It'll do it just like that, upload it bone. [SPEAKER_00]: And now, so that would just be one script, you know, they're like a 50, 50 line code.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it has gotten so much greater now. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's gotten so much more powerful now. [SPEAKER_00]: So now it understands entire cold bases and systems. [SPEAKER_00]: So now, we're at the point where you can be like, [SPEAKER_00]: It's got five different pages, it's multiple files, stuff like that. [SPEAKER_00]: I need you to scan this entire codebase. [SPEAKER_00]: Multiple files, everything is kind of connected and jumbled and understand the codebase.

[SPEAKER_00]: It goes in, scanning. [SPEAKER_00]: You can just code X5, that's my fit of one GPT, 5, 5, 5, 5 GPT. [SPEAKER_00]: You could use Cloud code. [SPEAKER_00]: You could use Gemini. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they all had their own thing and they're getting really, really good now. [SPEAKER_00]: Go in, scan your codebase, and then make the edits. [SPEAKER_00]: You can do them just like, hey, add this flyer. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, make the banner glue or something like that, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: And it goes in, does it in like 10 seconds, boom? [SPEAKER_00]: Now you still need to know that now it's like, how to, [SPEAKER_00]: deploy it to a domain, how to connect everything, but, you know, it's not hard, it's not hard, you can add chasperity out of do it, you know? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So, that you will clone a code, you showed it to me, and let Jit and Cole to Whole website, like you built website that I purchased from your meme generator, all this stuff, and I'm like, man, this is cool. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I actually should go back and optimize that now because it's got so much better like You know, it was a little glitchy, but not can actually make it like because Ayaz got so much smarter He would understand everything so much more.

[SPEAKER_00]: It'd be like, hey, I need to go back and like like everything 10 times faster And connect everything, but yeah, it's quite it's quite amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so so right now I'm just here where I should talk about what Ayaz. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah [SPEAKER_01]: You can use this to make some serious money right now, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: But yes, this is like, it's like the golden era right now. [SPEAKER_00]: I'd like.

[SPEAKER_00]: this so much opportunity and you don't have to be like super technical like you with me, you know, like you can literally use it, like, let's say, let's say you're just a person on Instagram, you know, but you got a somewhat of a following customic and content. [SPEAKER_00]: You can easily use, you've seen some of the AI content I made. [SPEAKER_00]: I can literally change the sky and all that stuff.

AI-Driven Marketing Revolution

[SPEAKER_00]: I just we haven't fun with it, you know, but if I was, I still do, if they do, um, [SPEAKER_00]: But literally, like, you can use it to sell your product. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you've seen things where, like, nano Google's nano AI. [SPEAKER_00]: Where, essentially, you can have people, let's say you have a product. [SPEAKER_00]: You can literally take your logo and put it like, [SPEAKER_00]: on the back of the phone. [SPEAKER_00]: And now everybody's doing videos with your logo.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, before you actually had to hire actors and models, and now you can literally just take your logo, put it on a product, and have people make your own commercials. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you know, when I was looking at that recently, it was lady. [SPEAKER_01]: I was washing a video and literally you can put your image there and create content. [SPEAKER_01]: This is it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, even if I want to sell the phone.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, scary, it is powerful, it is powerful and it can be scary, you know, but it's only scary, you know, they say people fear what they don't understand, you know, you just got to understand it and it's just like, um, [SPEAKER_00]: It's just like when electricity came out, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: People were just like, what? [SPEAKER_00]: You're not using the candle? [SPEAKER_00]: Or when the plane, because I was watching this documentary other day, it was like anime documentary.

[SPEAKER_00]: And in the show, they just had probably had commercial planes, right? [SPEAKER_00]: And the people at the time that were not new to it, they were just like, man, it's not belong in the sky. [SPEAKER_00]: What, you know, look at that today, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm flying out to Dominica next month, and then he's so sore, he's so new sore, so I actually am a little bit apprehensive to sore too, why?

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, something about [SPEAKER_00]: It just doesn't fit right in my spirit, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: Something about during day-to-day life with people that aren't really real, but like you can make prints or Michael, people that have died. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, super. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I'll super. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a little disrespectful, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: I think you got to, you still got to have your safeguards.

[SPEAKER_00]: I see, like some of the memes are funny, [SPEAKER_00]: a bit kind of hit a little bit better. [SPEAKER_00]: Something about, like, in my spirit, it just says, all of this is not real. [SPEAKER_00]: But in the same note, it just makes real interactions like what we're having so much more valuable. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, too, like, AI has a lot of biases. [SPEAKER_00]: It does.

[SPEAKER_01]: Especially with what people are usually like, meaning yourself, like, sometimes I could say it can be more racially [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it really isn't the hand of people using it. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I've seen people make very racist means and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, hey, if we ever get into a crazy AI dystopian world, at least it won't be able to recognize us properly. [SPEAKER_00]: They won't be able to target us properly. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, hey, so I'll take it.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, like Jeffrey and like game for me, I'm trying to get into the start of space. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I need to know how to cope really quickly. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was going to use AI. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to use it become a software engineer. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be the first thing that you would tell me to do. [SPEAKER_00]: I would say have X-Shatch PT. [SPEAKER_00]: How do you put a website?

[SPEAKER_00]: Start off there and understand the mechanics of what you need, how to structure system works out, how things connect to the cloud, how things collect to your domains, how to register a domain, understand each step, what is fun and back in, we talked a little bit about that. [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll get the base understandings. [SPEAKER_00]: Get the base understanding. [SPEAKER_00]: What you have the base understanding, you can use AI to take care of us.

[SPEAKER_00]: You have to have that foundation on understanding. [SPEAKER_01]: So get the foundation or because not only thing is, okay, you can use AI. [SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, it's like, how do I know? [SPEAKER_01]: Because a lot of people when I talk to this, they said it could be broken. [SPEAKER_00]: Or they can. [SPEAKER_00]: Fort. [SPEAKER_00]: It can be messed up and I won't. [SPEAKER_00]: So that is, that is a thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I got seen it, you know, it doesn't get it right. [SPEAKER_00]: all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: The simple stuff, when you start getting your codebase really, really large, it starts to make mistakes and unless you understand a deep knowledge of things and you're not going to be able to, you won't be able to fix it, you'll be prompting forever.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you still need to know coding although I think [SPEAKER_00]: by the end of this year into next year, they will have perfect it. [SPEAKER_00]: So I think give it three months and then all the bugs will be fixed out, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: So then at the same time, it's like, do we still need soft range of errors?

[SPEAKER_00]: You do, because you still need to have that foundational knowledge, but if soft range of data becomes 10x more powerful, I think it's always gonna need a lot more code.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think this so much that needs to be built [SPEAKER_00]: like like I still think we're gonna need I think we still need more software engineers I think there was a drought a software engineers people say oh they have these they also have met and stuff like that but those are the big things but we need like tech and grain into our regular businesses day-to-day to enhance our businesses and I think that's where we'll come through like

"Leveraging Tech for Business Growth"

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, our businesses that don't exist online, and if they don't, then you know, we're on our phones 50% of the day, you know, we need to utilize this tech that enhance our business. [SPEAKER_00]: You can use it to get ads for your business. [SPEAKER_00]: You've seen it like for black tech and that kind of stuff like that. [SPEAKER_00]: You can literally flood the entire region with ads and get people to come to your event. [SPEAKER_00]: Most people don't know how to use that.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's partially AI as well because [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I was having this discussion with somebody, you know, a lot of people in the political environment that we have this thing where it gets saw to zip codes and we have a database of the people in our region or state. [SPEAKER_00]: If you understand how you use that data, you can win any single election. [SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, seriously, like people were door knocking. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, dude, just flood, flood the regions.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like,

[SPEAKER_00]: all this data, but if you don't know how to properly use it, what good is it, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: You need to actually engineer and refine the oil so it can actually be used. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's where it goes at. [SPEAKER_01]: So as a business owner, you know what I do podcast? [SPEAKER_01]: I was using me for example. [SPEAKER_01]: What is three to four steps? [SPEAKER_01]: I would, what are three four steps I would take to use AI to make money in my business?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like what would I do first? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so first, it's very useful because one, you can use it to help you create your LLC. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people don't know how to actually make a business. [SPEAKER_00]: You can ask it, prompt it. [SPEAKER_00]: Before people will actually pay people money to actually make a business. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they go online, have a service, have a turn around. [SPEAKER_00]: You can actually just ask it and do it yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can file yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: For you, who's in to like content creation, more of a podcast kind of thing, you also have a teaching business as well, you can use it to, you know, make the subtitles for your business, you know, like it's, it's real great. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's say you have a, your new entrepreneur, you got like an idea, but you don't really know how to pull it off.

[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, I'd be to get those five bullets on your idea to help you draft a business plan, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: And then it's literally intelligent so I can commit on demand, like I said, like, you have an idea, you now have to know how to actually do it. [SPEAKER_00]: You just keep asking questions. [SPEAKER_00]: Keep asking questions.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many tools like even, you know, using targeted ads and stuff like that, using AI and... [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I love using talking. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, right? [SPEAKER_01]: They're all right with the last event. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm sure it's helping you, you know, get Kit Conten out quicker and helps with your editing. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they got, well, for you, it actually have to go in and edit your photos.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can literally just go auto, auto touch up, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: Just touch it up, auto, enhance it, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: And that's AI, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: People were using it every day, they just saw me realize it.

"Automating Business for Scalability"

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And if I get into a certain point, the whole business can be automated without me even having the touch of no more. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, like you said, the business plan. [SPEAKER_01]: I put in this is X amount of need to stop working. [SPEAKER_01]: Or stop. [SPEAKER_01]: If I was to stop working, I'd let you put a business plan. [SPEAKER_01]: It gave me everything I need to do to get to that point.

[SPEAKER_01]: It told me, it told me everything I need to scale what I need to do, partner, whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: Crazy intelligence on demand and tells us when the man before you had actually know people and like Connect these dots and have people with specific knowledge [SPEAKER_00]: Now you have all the knowledge in the world. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually utilize it to your event.

[SPEAKER_01]: Even clips like, you know, like, clips aren't, like, you know, people don't understand, like, you know, clips and things, they can get expensive, like, and time consuming time consuming. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, literally going through a whole hour of a clip and getting like a 30 second or a minute of it. [SPEAKER_00]: Now you literally have AI read the transcripts and find the most viral moments of that entire. [SPEAKER_00]: thing and then clip it out for you, make a look nice.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's part of the edit that one clip versus a whole right, right, right, right, right, so, so, so Jeff, we're going to go into this in just so you can emphasize, I know you're going to know the answers it is like, so the audience can know when I talked to a lot of people, they think AI or using AI software, [SPEAKER_01]: You have to know how to code. [SPEAKER_01]: Can you explain something like you don't really need to know how to code?

[SPEAKER_01]: You can just use the software to help us. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's a few things out there. [SPEAKER_00]: When you start to get to more nuanced apps, like very complex, you do need to know some software engineering. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna lie. [SPEAKER_00]: For simple stuff, [SPEAKER_00]: You could probably use a level-borne stuff like that, but even the stuff that's out there that I see today, unless it's something very basic like a one-page website or something like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You probably need to know the basic understanding of coding because when you start to get to like full web apps that utilizes AI, [SPEAKER_00]: or uploading it to App Store and stuff like that, you need to know that understanding. [SPEAKER_00]: But it can still do so much, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Even small scripts, if you have an Excel file, and you need to get the most important stuff out of there, you can use some AI to buy some code to get that out.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you don't need to always use it to create an app. [SPEAKER_00]: You can use it to small stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Just so much code can do. [SPEAKER_01]: I use AI to create literally Excel sheets for me. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: It literally writes, right? [SPEAKER_01]: It builds a whole Excel sheet. [SPEAKER_01]: It gives it back. [SPEAKER_01]: I created a whole documentation with that. [SPEAKER_00]: Word docs and everything, man.

"AI Unlocks Wealth Potential"

[SPEAKER_00]: You can, like, before you would hire people to look at, like, Excel documents and find inside. [SPEAKER_00]: You can literally upload a... [SPEAKER_00]: 20,000 row of 80 columns Excel into chat, GPT is a find the most important insight out of this, you know, on the man. [SPEAKER_00]: This is this is gold.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not you if this is the best time, like you need to be [SPEAKER_00]: people outside like part of your work like you need to be this is the best time to get rich there's might be the only chance this might be the last chance to actually generate true well let me the last chance man yeah because eventually it's gonna get to UBI universal basic income um was it proposed years ago [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, man. [SPEAKER_00]: I was talking about Andrew Yang years ago.

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember going to his one of his rallies Huh, I thought he was crazy everybody thought he was crazy but look at him. [SPEAKER_00]: He ended up being right Yo everybody crazy just being right early honestly You know I will say I like his music [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll use it to create content.

[SPEAKER_00]: I use it to, um, [SPEAKER_00]: I'd use it to create art, you know, I'd like these if I've also used it like they have tools like Canvas, you know, which will, it's kind of like your PowerPoint, but now you can make flyers and I think Canvas is just excellent tool. [SPEAKER_00]: We can use AI to move the background from a photo, you know, for your flyers, it's such like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's just really nice overall for marketing because [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm not, I'm creative, but I'm not artists, but with this, I can take these tools and truly become an artist, you know, I can't draw, but I have a very creative mind. [SPEAKER_00]: So, even though I can't draw, I can use these tools and kind of draw. [SPEAKER_01]: Now see, you got to see all of that and you have you created some dope stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you literally got an artist on there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm technical, but I can also, I got to create a side too. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, okay, okay, I got that. [SPEAKER_01]: You can use it the market. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what are the most profitable and use cases that you can use to scale? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I think it depends how you use it. [SPEAKER_00]: I think if you have an idea, [SPEAKER_00]: find a way to sell it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, I'm, I'm getting into this now because like, I realize. [SPEAKER_00]: I understand other things, but sales is one thing, I feel weird because I always know it's never going to be like an even deal, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: Someone's always going to be a little bit, I always like the things that be even, but I realize, you know, that's just a way of things, everything, it can't be 100% even.

[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe if you give them a feeling, like things are good, then it kind of evens it out. [SPEAKER_00]: That can be profitable. [SPEAKER_00]: It can be very, very, very profitable. [SPEAKER_00]: Before you would have to have a whole team, you just need yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like 23%. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just to sell yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, we'll say, like, I've hired marketers. [SPEAKER_00]: You've met one of my marketers before.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those own street marketers that just go out and talk to people are I think they're probably one of the best kind. [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, I think through the best, I think there always is the social media, but those in-person interactions are always, will always trump everything. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that human touch is priceless. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, when you don't have enough people, of course you get to AI to do stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if you can't add that human touch, that is that will always trump anything to say I can do.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because we don't go straight into some of the cars with AI like I've noticed like you want me like I post so much content a lot of time or something when I think I'm real yeah So I have to get to the point why I started to make videos just so people can all them real what what are the kinds of you see I mean I've seen AI content like like sore too dig had people yeah that's crazy um and like I said I think because of

AI Boosts Desire For Real Connection

[SPEAKER_00]: There's so much stuff online. [SPEAKER_00]: It's making people wanna come out in person more. [SPEAKER_00]: I think this is an effect that we didn't see with the launch of AI is that because everything is so artificially generated online that human part of us still desires real person connection. [SPEAKER_00]: So just like, because we used to be so hungry on our phones, now I actually have more joy having my phone on the table. [SPEAKER_00]: Isn't that strange?

[SPEAKER_00]: I actually get more dopamine, not picking up my phone, and actually dealing with people in the real life. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's a private part of the AI. [SPEAKER_00]: Who would have called it? [SPEAKER_01]: Because even not, you know, women, women in men, because I have went to AI and we're like, hey, can you tell me about how to deal with this situation? [SPEAKER_01]: It works, it's getting to the point where we're getting to AI.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're starting to take that interaction where AI I'm bringing it to real life. [SPEAKER_00]: If AI says it in as low, but you got to understand they don't understand us as humans. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it doesn't feel what I think that's the thing. [SPEAKER_00]: It's very good at observing. [SPEAKER_00]: It's very good at observing. [SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of things can be logically explained. [SPEAKER_00]: You can.

[SPEAKER_00]: And [SPEAKER_00]: No shade to the future AI is at a future, but you guys don't have that God-given spark that we do. [SPEAKER_00]: And because of that, you know, that is what distinguishes us. [SPEAKER_00]: We actually have [SPEAKER_00]: We have, we have human. [SPEAKER_00]: We have that divine spark within each of us that guides us through life and some things just aren't logical Some things are emotional.

[SPEAKER_00]: Something you just feel, you know, and I don't care how many ones or zeros there are. [SPEAKER_00]: There's something where I want a human nurse to take care of me. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to robot a nurse to take care of me. [SPEAKER_00]: There's just something that are just to

[SPEAKER_01]: mechanic that i just don't want to deal with you know it's like get the need for like a psychiatrist or you know to talk to them but i still need a human touch like a still need a soul you still need the soul i think that's the word that we're looking for i don't know future some might have it because you know right now is not a bit smarter than regular where it's still are the same like we humans but it can do PhD level research and like that

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I would say it's smarter than the average human in the average human in certain domains. [SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely top tier, it's been trained on that, but it's getting to the point where it is smarter than most humans, but it's just kind of just like when that electricity came out when you had [SPEAKER_00]: You had labor on the van, you know?

[SPEAKER_00]: Like now we don't really have to do heavy labor like that because electricity, we would actually have horses, carriers around, we would actually lift things and stuff like that just for regular day-to-day life. [SPEAKER_00]: Now we have machines, tools, dilly, [SPEAKER_00]: handle a lot of this thing like we don't build a building by hand like hand and you know what I mean we use machines.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we used to actually chop wood, but I like chop, chop bricks, you know, how is what you know, how is this matter, they was there for thousands of years, the ones we build now break down and we don't maintain this building, you'll break down within five years. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think that's more of the material that we're using, not the tools.

[SPEAKER_00]: But honestly, I like those cathedrals back in the day, I wish we, they won't forget [SPEAKER_00]: If I ever create my own church, I'm building, I'm going to build one of those. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to cathedral. [SPEAKER_00]: Those just shoot. [SPEAKER_00]: That looks beautiful. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they also, but yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So we, you know, you kind of touched on universal income.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think AI would get to the point where it's like literally going to take all of our jobs? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You're a good majority.

Future of Work and Humanity

[SPEAKER_00]: So I think I think it's going to, I think in a future. [SPEAKER_00]: In quote me on this, about 10 years, gonna have a world where you can work four hours a day, four hours a week, if you want to, otherwise you're just gonna get money, you know, you get $1,000 a month, $8,000 a month, you do what you want. [SPEAKER_00]: And you get to find out what it means to be human outside of work.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we can actually tap into like, God and humans, like like, like, interactions and talking to people like, [SPEAKER_00]: And it will always be worth because this is going to be a lot of code that's needed to build up a starship. [SPEAKER_00]: You know? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, if you already have one, but you know, they got all these, and I didn't apply things flying around. [SPEAKER_00]: That's probably what it is already. [SPEAKER_00]: I.

"Code, Starships, and Progress"

[SPEAKER_00]: Lead that for another. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's another conversation, but yeah, it's going to be a lot of code that's going to be needed to build Starships and jump the planet planet and we're still very far from there.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean this always is going to I think like it's going to get easy Just like the industrial revolution before people were working like 80 hours a week 60 hours a week Because we had to in order to make society function, but because the machinery we were able to scale that back [SPEAKER_00]: It's also because it is due with revolution we're going to be at scale back up a more, you know, and it's going to be nice. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm feel excited.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited too, but again, you've got to tap into it now, audience, because if you don't, it might be a last time to make a couple million. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can just learn in the tools and talking about it online and then just teach people how to, you can make money just off of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so sales, learning the RS sales, and that's, [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to have this discussion another year. [SPEAKER_00]: Because that's my goal for this year.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what I'm here for. [SPEAKER_00]: My, I think I talked to you last year about my goal for 2025, which was to empower people that were not seeing it or people that are rising star. [SPEAKER_00]: Make myself, I guess, self-inclif. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Other people, you know, that I helped do out this year. [SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to Jeffrey. [SPEAKER_01]: This man really helps out a lot of people, man.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll, this is how I'm working my life in my 30s. [SPEAKER_00]: I do a year for community and I have to do a year for myself. [SPEAKER_00]: So next year, 26 is going to literally be mastering sales and like, [SPEAKER_00]: what we talked about, you know, um, so I don't want to say itself is just about a self year and then a community, a self year community, and I'm going to alternate like that. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's fair. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's good.

[SPEAKER_00]: Most people just do self years. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't even do to me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I took care of yourself too. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Your friend has, uh, he's been giving so much to other people and I was like, [SPEAKER_01]: If you're really going to grow your thing you're doing, you've got to take some time for yourself. [SPEAKER_01]: You do. [SPEAKER_01]: And then you do a break later on? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So, um, 20, 25 is definitely a community here. [SPEAKER_00]: 20, 26 will be a self-year. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and we'll talk about it next year. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure. [SPEAKER_01]: So, so Jeffrey basically to sum it up is the focus on AI, we used to scale your business. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: And um, is there anything else you want to kind of mention on AI?

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, one of the things that I do is tech literacy, um, please don't be scared. [SPEAKER_00]: I know us as a people are very apprehensive to new technologies. [SPEAKER_00]: We need to get on this now. [SPEAKER_00]: It's open to everybody, please in us as a people who are very creative people. [SPEAKER_00]: It is that creativity that will make us move into a golden age and not a dystopia. [SPEAKER_00]: So we need you to use this technology to make the world a better place.

[SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, [SPEAKER_00]: You know, and that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Behind. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Universal income. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You'll learn how it is to move through life. [SPEAKER_01]: But that's a great knowledge. [SPEAKER_01]: One last thing I did went ahead on is AI agents. [SPEAKER_01]: What are those? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that is AI that can do more than one task.

[SPEAKER_00]: It can kind of bring new multi-task in order to give it a go. [SPEAKER_00]: So you give it a go, and it will do multiple things in order to achieve that go looking. [SPEAKER_00]: Search to Internet, understand your code, search here there, get information here. [SPEAKER_00]: So usually how AI is done, you just ask your question and answer your question or does that task? [SPEAKER_00]: It can do multi-task in order to accomplish to go that's a gentric AI.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, I use it for my code any house.

"ChatGPT for Advanced Research"

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, because before you could just before agents you would just add the give it a prompt or and it would just write one script. [SPEAKER_00]: Now it can like, oh look at this pile connected to here do do do do do search on internet here and get the documentation and bring it in and then make this edit then you may need to make it edit here here here here at understands entire thing or like you can use it for heavy research. [SPEAKER_00]: They have a tragedy for deep research.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can do PhD level research. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, help me understand the mitochondria of Plato. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, something like that. [SPEAKER_00]: But do a deep research on Plato and all his books. [SPEAKER_00]: And help me understand what is the true essence of his philosophy. [SPEAKER_00]: It will literally scrape the internet for everything he's done. [SPEAKER_00]: It'll give it like five minutes of doing heavy research and give you a nice PhD level paper.

[SPEAKER_01]: Does even mean I use AI2, like, rear or proplexity? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, proplexity. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I look proplexly, so. [SPEAKER_00]: That's better than Google to me. [SPEAKER_00]: It's good, shade of Google. [SPEAKER_01]: Man, no, the flexity is, it didn't have a tune and out of one, I'm like, [SPEAKER_00]: I haven't used it to $200 one.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does that do so basically it creates his own web browser So it can create like he said automations do what you already do on the internet. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh wow. [SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of people just buy it they use it for that purpose. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh wow. [SPEAKER_00]: That's good. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So can actually search the web and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Like literally your daily task to mimic it like an agent like it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I have the you normally had the own web browser now. [SPEAKER_00]: Come at. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Like Firefox and Google Chrome. [SPEAKER_00]: And instead of Google search, it's perplexity. [SPEAKER_00]: You think I'm sure they got a lot more cards in there. [SPEAKER_01]: So it was build software, so they got stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they got something. [SPEAKER_01]: Who did you sort with that group?

[SPEAKER_00]: That was an open AI. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that was open. [SPEAKER_00]: That was good. [SPEAKER_00]: So it was open AI. [SPEAKER_00]: But they Google has their own thing. [SPEAKER_00]: They have the own image generator. [SPEAKER_00]: I think I heard they may have acquired anthropic.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so we're about to wind it down. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so Jeffrey key. [SPEAKER_01]: Can you tell me two things? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there's two things. [SPEAKER_01]: Are you already know what I'm probably going to actually, but I'm going to say hey, first of key to the audience where you can find your social media. [SPEAKER_01]: So you can learn about all these these things that you're talking about or they can reach out to. [SPEAKER_01]: What can they find?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so you can find me at Jeffrey Scruggs on LinkedIn. [SPEAKER_00]: J.E.F.F.R.E.Y. [SPEAKER_00]: Scruggs or LinkedIn. [SPEAKER_00]: You can find me on Instagram, Jeffrey S. Scruggs. [SPEAKER_00]: You can also find my company, Majestic Light Group, or you can check out Venture for them. [SPEAKER_00]: You can just Google these things and they should pop up. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, to check that man out, he's a good dude, and he's in the DMV area, so check him out.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then also, what is one quote statement, anything you want to let the audience know? [SPEAKER_00]: A quote? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, anything. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay, yes. [SPEAKER_00]: This is my favorite quote of all time. [SPEAKER_00]: Truth is the odds aren't in your favor, but that's what makes it a good story. [SPEAKER_01]: Very Japanese. [SPEAKER_01]: That's cool. [SPEAKER_01]: That's cool. [SPEAKER_01]: That's true. [SPEAKER_01]: That makes a good story, Rob.

[SPEAKER_01]: It makes a good story. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not. [SPEAKER_01]: It's never your favorite, unless you was born with a lottery. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not in this life as given, so. [SPEAKER_00]: Except that, not in this life as your promise except that. [SPEAKER_01]: And as if Jesus is coming back there, you might not experience, but the way that we never want to know that, so we don't want to see.

"Tech Talk Podcast Outro"
