Final Thoughts & Winner

Camera Body Differences

Weather Sealing (one device is made of robust Magnesium Alloy that is protected against Dust & Moisture)

The other device is made of mostly plastic and Lacks weather sealing

The LCD monitor on one of the cameras has 100 percent field coverage with an OLED, The other machine has more limited screen articulation as you can see

A huge difference is one of the machines has a mic input & the other device does not have a microphone input

The machine can remotely control another compatible flash with its built-in flash.

Lastly, I will go more in depth later about this, but there is a massive price difference between the two devices the G85 is about 900 for the body and 1k for the kit lenses The GX85 is 700 for the body & 800 for the kit lens (I personally found this camera for 500 on amazon)

 Camera Internal/Software

Both devices have Dual IS which is a huge bonus The G85 has Cine-Like V and Cine-Like D profiles out of the box (Which is so fun to edit with in post) The GX85 doesn't have that (Although you can get it with a hack)

Both Cameras shoot 4k
