Episode description

When we think ahead constantly, it can lead to negative though loops, which are almost always destructive towards what we want.

The beautiful thing about a negative thought loop is that you have the power to stop it in its tracks, redirect the thought or feeling you're having and choose a different pattern. Now, this is much easier said than done.

Even though you can work on this and try to correct it in yourself over time, the thing I've realized is that they never end. The negative thought loops never end - but this shouldn't discourage you. They never end because there is never a shortage of situations in which these can crop up. But the important thing to remember is that when a negative thought loop is presented, it is also an opportunity for a positive thought loop as well.

Question: Where in your life do you recognize negative thought loops appear over and over?
