Episode description

"Give me six hours to cut down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe." - Abraham Lincoln Problem: Many of us skip out on our preparation time. We just dive head-first into things without being prepared. Possibility: We can become more prepared than anyone around us and actually achieve more in life by taking the time to "sharpen our axe" and better prepare ourselves. Path: 1. Take the time out to find a space in which you can think and plan. 2. Take your big goal and break it into bite-sized pieces. 3. Take action on the first thing right away. Challenge Question: Where in your life are you not taking the time to "sharpen the axe" and how is it costing you more time or results?
